Things I've thought...

1. I miss Monasterio.

2. We have too many starting pitchers.

3. Bauers will play sparingly, primarily as a backup for Vaughn.

4. The Brewers should just go get that mythical 3B with power and good defense who's available at the deadline (who won't cost much, either)

Brewers are known for there pitching lab and pitching coaches, maybe we ought to shake up the hitting department?  Not a fan of these guys and Eric Theisen was a pitcher when he played, isn't that bizarre?  To me it is very odd.  Like asking Clayton Kershaw how to hit.

My hot take is that our lack of recent playoff success is almost entirely bad luck from several all-star closers blowing critical games / punching walls + other bad injury luck. Different roster management practices would not have helped in any appreciable way.

They’re in this weird void where they need to buy, of course, but they also need to loosen the logjam of major league ready talent a bit too.
