You gotta guy in the office who is known by everyone in the industry because he kicked ass at sales/design/coding, whatever. But he's been at it for 30 years and is not carrying his weight anymore. Of course, there are those in upper management who want his ass out the door now, but lots of others say he has earned and is owed a certain respect for what he was and who he is.

If ever there was an apples to oranges comparison - this is it …

Mitchell's next step is improving his launch angle a little bit.  He hits the piss out of the ball but way too often they're grounders.

And I, for one, welcome our new gambling peddler overlords.

According to Nate Silver, if you are ahead 1 penny at the end of a year of gambling, you are doing better than 98 percent of gamblers.

I learned in my early 20’s that gambling can be dangerous & impact you negatively. No wagering for me for 40 plus years. There are very few “happy “ gamblers.

Yelich is going to be washed regardless of where he hits

I see people saying he's slumping. He's not. Slumping would require a time earlier this season where he was hitting well.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

Pittsburgh has built quite the rotation...

Skenes, Jones, Ashcraft, and Bubba... (Bubba hasn't lived up to expectations just yet though)

That's a nice rotation full of young, controllable guys that we get to deal with for a few years, assuming Skenes doesn't get traded.

I would like to see Lara in the lead off spot.  His approach is near perfect for that spot.

That's not in the "Handling Rookies for Dummies" book so, no.

C'mon, he had like a 4-6 game stretch there where he looked pretty MVP like...

It’s hard to believe that the Pirates have the record they do the way they own the Brewers.

With their beefed up bullpen they could be a difficult wildcard round opponent. Hopefully the Brewers won’t have to face them.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
