Over the past 28 days, one of our 3B options has an OPS in the 900s and one has an OPS in the 500s. Want to guess which one is getting a 4th consecutive start today?

For those of you going to the game - get on your feet and give Yeli a standing ovation when he comes to bat.  Time to give him the Trea Turner treatment.

Regardless of how things are going and where things go from here, he’s an all-time Brewers great and deserves the love.  And just maybe the support of the fans at a low point can help him get the jolt he needs, and the team needs.  Worst that can happen is nothing changes, but he feels the love and support he has earned.

Roy Howell?

Seriously, I agree that I'd like to see Ortiz get more time now that he's combining the glove with some offense. And I don't foresee this as being a straight platoon from here on out unless Hamilton starts consistently reaching a couple times a game. But in fairness, that 28-day stretch only had something like 8 games where Hamilton has played.

Yeli back batting 5th. Joey O still riding the pines. This current run of 'Smartest Man in the Room' from Murf is awe inspiring. Has he seen a doctor of late for possible signs of dementia? (Mostly kidding🕵️‍♂️)

Yelich is batting in the same spot he was last night because Bauers isn't playing again. If Bauers was playing he'd be hitting 7th.

I hereby declare that, I will NEVER again refer to Pete Crow-Armstrong using his initials.

Use of that label connotes a degree of affection that I do not have

My kids call him DRL

Oh I am well aware my friend. AND, just because Bauers is injured in no way stipulates Yeli has to or should be batting 5th. But I digress. I hope my Yeli negativity sees him finally hit a ball with purpose. That'd be amazing.

Lara should be lead off, Turang 3rd, Mitchell 5th, and Yelich 7th (although he shouldn’t be in the lineup at all).

I could get behind Lara hitting higher and actually brought it up at one point. But I backed off because he was doing some good things hitting 6-7, and sometimes the worst thing you can do is thrust a youngster up in the order because if he doesn't respond to it well then you're bouncing him back down or sitting him. A rookie in his first handful of games should get & stay comfortable & gain confidence. No batting-order roulette.

I agree he has the skills for the 1 or 2 spot & I think he'll be up there at some point. But when they do it I want him to be able to stay there. Maybe that time is soon.

It would be very refreshing. But right now I'd settle for him not swinging at pitches that are close to hitting him in the foot.

This is beyond crazy at this point.

Hey Murphy, do better...

im sorry, but Lara needs to be hitting higher than 7th.

Murphy doesn't trust him yet, he's not a gritty vet...

No Joey is infuriating.  I just can't understand it.

I really wish a member of the post game Murphy love-fest would out and out ask him why Joey has become bench fodder after a month of strong production.

Maybe his kids could ask him?

I've noticed the pavlovian defending of Murphy has quieted quite a bit.  Maybe he should just have his MOY trophy next to him in the dugout to remind us of his infafllability.  I think the more the pressure mounts, the more his in game deceisons will be exemplified.

So far, me benching Chourio on my 3 fantasy teams has worked out great for the Brewers!

I have him benched tonight as well, so expect another big night from the kid!

You are welcome!

Obviously the 900 guy because that would make more sense.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

Im waiting for him to swing at one that breaks his left kneecap without fouling it.
