Writing a letter from your deceased legendary play by play guy to your team from before he passed and playing it off as legitimate is weird.

Playing Ortiz constantly for two years and then letting him ride the pine for David Hamilton the minute he finally starts to come out of it is weird.

He basically killed Ortiz’s momentum.   His last game he played he busted his ass down the line for two IF hits.  I don’t want to hear the BS about matchups.  If Hamilton doesn’t bunt for a base hit he pretty much offers nothing.  Ortiz plays far superior D
