What team in the AL is even that good? AL is wide open this year

Take it to Vegas then bro. Drop some cash on the Twins winning it all. 😆

Trade for a 30 yr old career 690 OPS player and overpay by “making the Twins think twice”?

I knew it. You are the Yelich burner. I was wondering what he did between innings.

You can buy and sell. Lots of teams do it. They aren't winning a world series. You have great prospects that they don't. Is he going to help them win a championship? Not likely.

It he is not going to win a Twins a championship why trade for him?

I’m just fine with it. We need to win this game.

Agreed.  We need this one.  Especially with the uncertainty with our IF

No one said they are winning it all. Most GM’s main goal is to make the playoffs and anything can happen in October. Team can randomly get hot etc

That’s higher than our current regular DH .684 OPS.

Agreed but we know that is not changing. I’m trying to be realistic. We could just put Vaughn at DH and play Bauers everyday but that is not going to happen.

Home team always uses their closer in a tie game in the 9th

Don’t reply as if I’m not aware of baseball. I likely have socks your age. No one my age would be so arrogant to other posters.

So if you’re baseball knowledge is so good why wouldn’t you use your closer in this spot if he’s available?

I prefer not to get into a tit for tat exchange with a teenager.

Maybe we hit now?

Pulling Vaughn really hamstrings are lineup when we don't have an overabundance of hitters to begin with

Cause he's better than what u have.

Sure better but is he that much better that you would give up a prospect for him?  My answer is no.  He is not that much better where he helps the Brewers beat the Dodgers or any other NL playoff team.
