I just hate the way we play.  4 pitch walk to Sanchez but Bar is up next and we don’t have any confidence in him to do something productive so he sacrifices despite being in a 2-0 count and the pitch he bunts being ball 3 which means it’s a lefty on lefty matchup for Hamilton, who isn’t a good hitter anyway.  He strikes out which allows them to intentionally walk Chourio which sets up a tough matchup for Turang.  Just so stupid all around.

More RISP stats not to love: 1-for-9 through 9 innings. Have the opportunities. Just can’t seem to get the big hit after getting runners on base.

Once Bae was up 2-0 I would have put the take sign on, the third pitch was a ball. Then you can have Hamilton bunt them to 3rd

The Brewers used up their bullpen bullets and the offense couldn’t deliver.

Its going to be tough now.

Yep. If he strikes out he strikes out but then they have to decide if they actually want to advance a runner with an intentional walk. That's less cut and dried.

They aren’t good hitters.    It really isn’t much more than that

Which they would have walked Jackson and have Turang/Mitchell up against the lefty anyways 

Twins have a lot of LHH relievers, just a tough matchup overall

I prefer the strategy to go all in on winning prior to extras in a tie game. It didn’t work out but they might win anyway.
