I almost wish they coughed it up. Just insane decision to let Sproat walk 4 batters in an inning. Just win the dang game man. Sprout is not going to be on postseason roster so get him out of there after two.

Well, 7 runs is not Sproat proof.  I wonder what the magic # would be to make it so?

10 game lead. Swept the Cubs, beat them 5-2 last 7 games yet the series doesn’t feel like a win because Sproat was left in too late

No banner tonight win or lose. Sproat on this roster is too much for me.

Come on Ed - Do it!   The magic # is 6 - ok 5 if you use the tie breaker.   And look at the bright side it is possible Sproat will be OUTRIGHTED to Nashville tonight or tomorrow.

Who cares … Sproat stole the joy of the series for me. I don’t want him on my team next year.

No way this isn’t sarcasm. An 8-6 win and a sweep took joy away from you for the series?

To be honest.    The best thing g that happened after that good 8th inning was this nonsense.   Now you know he cannot be counted on.   At all.     They still won anyways.    And now they should be using real pitchers who actually produced like stallings etc

Well, they swept, that’s awesome.

I'm afraid Sproat just ain’t gonna work out. The mental part needed to succeed at this level just isn’t there.

Andrew Chafen type pitching.

Why do the Brewers keep going back to this Brandon Sproat well?  He has the pitching version of the yips on an MLB mound - broken psyche and mechanics gone haywire. Just call up Garrett Stallings and give him that role. He has been very good and effective and throws actual strikes. Can't wait for another downtrodden post-game interview with the Sproatster. A genre all its own.

Well, it’s not like he’s going to be on the playoff roster.

Why was Uribe pissed?

He pitched like crap is my guess. Just don’t punch anything, Abner

Lmao he’s being serious

It’s insane. Doesn’t matter if you win by 20 or by 1. It counts the same

Gary Sanchez pitches better in blowout games than Sproat.

Hey Gary Sanchez is auditioning for leverage roles. He is a savant.

If you can't be trusted to protect a seven run lead in the 9th, you have no business wearing a big league uniform.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

They just swept the Cubs.  The Cubs are much closer to being the 7th seed in a 6 team tournament than they are to the Brewers.  Enjoy it.  One terrible outing from a reliever that wont pitch in the postseason in a game that they won anyway shouldn't ruin that.

I kinda feel bad for him because it clearly isn’t a lack of work ethic or desire. I just don’t think he can handle the pressure of competing at this level.

Abner didn't think he would have to come in and clean up a Sproating in progress.

How is everyone not happy? Six weeks ago the Crew was going to be a wild card team. Now up 10 in the division and are starting to pull away from the Braves.
