Nice. It seems as though Gallardo and Sheets have the ability to sometimes overcome our pathetic defense, and still pitch well. Capuano, Suppan, Vargas, and Bush?...not so much.

Good looking graph Russ. It looks like tonight will be a gradually sloping blown win probability rather than one that suddenly spikes in the 9th. That means we get 3 full hours of agony instead of just 10 minutes!

 

I don't know what it is but I guess I don't have that cloud hanging over me tonight. Maybe it's knowing the Brewers can get a share of first place with a win or maybe it's getting my playoff ticket invoice but I'm feeling good! I'm just half kidding around. I mean, eventually the tide has to turn for the Brewers it would seem. The kind of bad luck and bad play they've had simply can't last much longer.

Its funny but i am just as excited about the single by weeks as i was about the homerun by yo. weeks even getting back to average would be huge

Why do they do this to us? Why? All the promise of a blow out, and the final score will probably be 9-3, not the Brewers.
