I need a new baseball team to follow. Suggestions?

The Brewers are dead to me. I think my new favorite team is the Indians. Or maybe the Red Sox.

For real though, if the Brewers suddenly ceased to exist (which, for all intents and purposes, they might as well) what team would you pick up as "your team"?

Although I've developed something of a dislike for the Cardinals since they are a division rival and always seem to whip us, I've always respected their organization. The fact that they have dragged themselves off the mat and back into the rat-race with the Cubs and Brewers has made my respect for them grow even more. It also helps that they are a nemesis of the Chicago Cubs. So that would probably be my favorite team if there was no Milwaukee Brewers. What would yours be?

Indians are the team I follow the most after the Brewers, then the Mariners. The best part is, if the season ended now, my four "favorite" AL teams would be in the playoffs. The Phillies are creeping up my list since they have both the Muscle and Big Country on their roster now.

I've always been a closet Braves fan, so I guess I would continue ahead with that.

Indians for the AL, Diamondbacks in the NL.

We should be better than the Diamondbacks, our SP are as good on paper, our offense is better and they weren't supposed to be a strong defensive team. As it turns out they have played over their heads most of the season and our team has crashed and burned.

My second favorite team happens to be the Royals (Family in KC), but I don't know if that would be much of an upgrade.

I agree with the original poster. Sometimes I wonder if my life would be happier if Miller Park were never built...

I've been an A's fan since I was probably about 10 years old (along with the Brewers). So it'd be them. Lately I have probably been watching them more often than the Brewers, even though they've been out of it for a while. They had a similar run of horrible luck with injuries to what the Brewers had last season.

Wow. Get out of my mind. Those are the two teams I follow (Mariners because of family in the area and Indians well just because I like their team and Grady Sizemore is one of my favorite players.)

I haven't watched a single non-Brewers baseball game this year besides the All-Star game.I do love watching Brewers baseball, but can't get interested in any other team unless i have money riding on them.I've tried watching a few non-Brewers games and get bored after a few minutes, end up changing the channel unless it's a close Cubs game.

I'll watch the playoffs because i'll place some wagers, other than that though,i don't care what teams make the playoffs or not.I can't get into watching other baseball teams like i can sit and watch pro/college football that doesn't involve the Packers/Badgers or college basketball.

There are fewer things funnier than a despondent Yankees fan, and a Mets winner combined with a Yanks loser makes for some great gnashing of teeth.

Plus, I like Reyes and Wright. And Willie. And Omar Minaya. And Pedro. And Oliver Perez.

I will root for the Mets over any team besides the Brewers.

I don't believe what i am hearing, your going to bail on them now, wow what a great fan you are, fine leave but don't come running back when things get better, i am surprised you that you were a fan at all. I am speechless, i don't even know what to say.

Just wanted to repost this since apparently some didn't read it.

Anyway, my choice would be the Giants...great stadium, mostly nice and knowledgable fans, enemies of a couple teams I mostly can't stand, likeable players (outside of the white elephant), and they play a couple miles from me.

For better or for worse, I am True Blue Brew Crew for life, though.

DougJones43= FAIRWEATHER fan.

Pardon me, a bandwagon fan just jumped off. See you in a while.

For crying out loud, people, it's an honest question, and perhaps you read the first part and missed the point of the post: Outside of the Brewers, who would you choose to follow?

You don't need to break out snide comments about bandwagon jumping.
