Was that fat piece of garbage 1B ump paid off by the Cubs or something?

Tex barely got there in time...at the most, it was a tie, which should go to the runner either way. Just bad luck that Teixeira barely got a bat on it and it was hit so slow.

Wow...Francoeur was out at 2nd...that wasn't even close. Ned gets tossed and throws in a 360 F-Bomb just for good measure. Now he's jawing at the first base ump, too.

That one's on you, umpiring crew. Ned should have just punched the 2nd base ump in the face. It would have driven his point home emphatically, and we wouldn't have him managing us for the last week of the season!

I'm surprised at the depth of emotion Bill is showing. That helps indicate how bad this is.

And I don't want to see ANYONE on this forum talking about yet another winless Capuano start. This is anything but his fault.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

These umpiring calls are a joke. An absolute joke. I don't care if Atlanta is the home team.

I can only hope the Brewers get some of these calls for the final homestand. The Tex call didn't bother me that much, but that Francoeur play was pretty bad.

This is unbelievable. Next time the Braves are up, I suggest a fastball right at the head of the home plate umpire first pitch of the inning. Rivera to stay down and make no attempt to catch the pitch.

This reminds me of that game in Houston where John Hirshbeck (you know he's bad when you hear his name on the radio) blew three identical calls at first base, all in favor of the Astros.

We won that game on home runs in the bottom of the eight and ninth. I feel similarly good about this one.
