Favre/Cecil Fielder question

Does anyone know the connection between Brett Favre's snap count call of "319" and Cecil Fielder's total HR total? Where did this come from? Why Cecil Fielder? I don't see the connection.

I think the question is why does Favre care about Cecil's career HR total. I also knew of the connection, but couldn't tell you why.

Kenny Mayne quote from a Sunday NFL Countdown piece a couple weeks ago: "Favre uses the number in honor of Cecil Fielder, who hit 319 career home runs, and whose son Prince plays for the Green Bay Brewers." It'll be in my signature one of these days....

Like someone else said, Cecil Fielder's career HR total seems to be really obscure for it to be Favre's LOS call.

For the record, I think Favre's LOS call is actually "Green 19".

And the first play of the game today confirms that it IS "Green 19."

It probably is Green because he also uses Blue 38 once in a while I believe.
