Scott Boras quickly turning into Drew Rosenhouse after the whole T.O./Javon Walker debacles.

 

Gonna pretty tough to get clients when even teams like the Yankees refuse to deal with you.

Frankly, I think both sides handled this badly. The Yankees camp looks like hypocrites, and basically turned all their statements into sticking their feet in their collective mouth. Boras looks irrelevant to the process. The only "winner" is maybe A-Rod, but he was basically going to get this money either way, so this whole process was basically pointless in the long run.

Actually that maybe more of New York reducing their actual payroll for salary tax reasons than ARod being "greedy"

Actually, won't this deal increase their payroll for salary tax purposes, now that Texas is off the hook for $8 mil of his salary?

 

Edit: I see the potential savings on the extra $30 mil, but the Yankees still are out that Texas $$$.

This is for GSP, and all those who loathe Boras, the following is from BBTF's Dan Szymborski's analysis of the TB Ray's 3-year extension of Carlos Pena:
