My teen years are going by too fast

I hate to say, but that pace doesn't seem let up even in later decades. Still, happy birthday, Adam. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

It only gets worse.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

This moment precedes "What happened to my 20s?", which is followed immediately by "There's no way I'm 40!"

The key is to enjoy the journey, it all happens fast, so make sure you're doing the things you want to be doing.

Happy Birthday!

Just wait until you have kids. It is hard to imagine that my first born is now 11. Many people have told me to make sure I stop and smell the roses. I have tried to make that a priority in my life. Life goes too fast as it is without me doing things to try to make it go by faster.

I'll also echo Brian's comments about college. There are many times where I really miss the college experience. Of course, it was at Madison ;-).

Happy birthday. I've enjoyed every decade of life for it's own reasons. There are as many interesting things coming your way in the future as the ones you will leave behind. The only way to live is to enjoy what's here and now vs wishing you could keep what has past you by.

There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

man, I'm almost 27 (Feb 1st), and I have my first fulltime job, my first girlfriend, and a lot of reflecting on "what took me so long, cause I'm really happy"

I am 24, one of these upcoming decades better include a Brewers Championship. Outside of my wedding day, birth of my future kids, graduation and marriage of my future kids, and my graduation from college, I cant imagine a whole lot of things making me happier than that.

When you turn 10, a year is a tenth of your life - a long time. When you turn 40, a year is just a 40th of your life - which feels short and fast. My theory on why time speeds up, anyway.

hawing, that's almost as good as two Brewerfan staff members sharing a July 26th birthday.

Happy birthday, Adam.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
