True. Hard to quantify. I guess it's pretty close because both teams are screwed without those guys.
-
I remember the 92 team, went to a couple games on that last homestand. They were hot but yea, just too far behind. This team feels like that team, but much closer.... I got a feeling!!! Looking at the stats for that team is pretty funny. Amazing how much the game has changed in 25 years. Jamie Navarro, who was excellent, had 100 strikeouts. In 246 innings. The team struck out 793 batters in 1457 innings. The team hit 82 HR (!) and stole 256 bases(!).
-
'82 easily in my opinion. The '92 team was playing the best at the end of the season of any Brewer team I've ever seen, they just dug themselves too big of a hole and were chasing too good of a team.

Yeah, it's Sabathia. Good part is Yelich for 5 years is almost certainly going to destroy Sabathia's impact.

AA/AA 2018 G AB R H TB 2B 3B HR RBI BB IBB SO SB CS AVG OBP SLG OPS 119 431 63 100 172 23 5 13 56 68 2 140 14 3 .232 .340 .399 .739 I have no problem with the trade. He's been pretty meh past high A.He would have only been a year or 2 stop gap to Huira anyways. I was poking fun at some people who were worried about what we gave up. Should've been in blue I guess. -
Best bang for your buck in my opinion. When I had season tickets they were in the club level and it's just a lot more relaxed in terms of concessions/restrooms. Depends what you're looking for I guess. I don't want to wait in lines and there really isn't nearly as much of that on the club level. 1st row in the Club level is my favorite spot in that park.

Meh....I'm still not sure we should've given up Isan Diaz in that deal. Seriously though, this is pretty fun. Best season as a Brewer fan of my life and I started paying attention in 1977. GO CREW!!!!

My comment was sarcasm given the people who dismiss Villar for that reason. Unless Schoop turns into the second coming of Ryne Sanberg next year this trade sucked balls. I'm kinda enjoying the win tonight ... but you do you I give the guy credit. When he sinks his teeth into something they stay there. He's like a pitbull. Brewers win to get within 1/2 game of the Cubs? Who cares? Villar is better than Schoop!!!11!1!

Show Dovydas Neverauskas some respect!

Thursday, but yeah me too. oops, got ahead of myself. Yep, the Cubs have one more opportunity to lose before Williams clowns them.

Exhibit triple z that Gery Woelfel is a blithering moron.
-
It'll be a travesty if he doesn't win it. Period.
-
And a single. Doesn't look promising.
-
Walk. Cain. To. Pitch. To. Yelich.
-
If it makes you feel any better, I'm 100% certain that it doesn't.
-
2 nights in a row Braun hit a dinger that I couldn't see because FSWis was screwed up.
-
Not even close to true, but I'm happy. Zero runs. Would Woody have done that? We don't know, but we DO know Knebel gave up 0. No extra credit for how it gets done. No we don't know. Hardly makes it the "right" move though. Woodruff may have pitched through the 8th, saving the bullpen. Anyway, peace. Go crew.
-
The game would be unwatchable.
-
Not even close to true, but I'm happy.
-
Love it or hate it, I at least understand it. I don't.
-
I love Counsell but I hate this move. Leave Woodruff in.
-
About as lucky as the previous play was unlucky. So I'm ok with it.

Doesn't bother me at all. Get the enjoyment of listening to a Uecker called game while getting to watch and not just listen to the game. Best of both worlds. Yeah, what does it hurt? Realistically Uecker won’t be around much longer so I think it’s kind of a treat to hear him again. I watch most games on tv so I don’t get to hear him much anymore. Also, I really like Yelich. It's actually perfect because he's hard to listen to on the radio because you never know the situation. I love Ueck, but it's tough sometimes with him.
