  1. Gave up on Hardy and Segura's bats too soon, just as some are doing now with Arcia. Also forgetting he was the best stick in September and the playoffs.
  2. [sarcasm]Hiura[/sarcasm] Doesn't make sense, even in blue.
  3. I've been saying it for a while, but the Warriors don't scare me. If they both make it that far, the Bucks have home court. More importantly, I think they want it more. All the in-fighting is probably worse than we know, some guys have one foot out the door....all that stuff adds up- especially if you get them down 2-0. Then all the wounds are opened up. Not to say it will be easy. They're still a very talented team with the experience of winning NBA titles. I just don't think it would be a monumental challenge that it has been the last few years.
  4. I had the chance to sit in the 1st row on the baseline a few years back, and agree completely. Unbelievable how physical it is! Also, I don't get the "jogging up the court" comment. The NBA is a transition game now more than ever, guys are sprinting up and down the court on most possessions.
  5. That will sell some tickets!!
  6. And thats why Hader didnt need to be up throwing. Now he'll probably pitch the 9th with a 4 run lead. Didnt really even want him in 3 run game.
  7. I knew Arcia would get crap for that. He did exactly what he should do, go 100% for the ball until he's called off. Yeich didn't call it until very late.
  8. Or a dominating starter for that matter... The hot hand in AAA is much like the backup QB, everyone's favorite. Just remember Woodruff, Burnes, and Peralta were more dominant over a much longer stretch and we see hiw they're doing. I mean Wilkerson has been pretty dominant too, but I guarantee you won't like what you see if he's ever brought up. That said, Im sure Houser will get a chance soon. They just need to figure out who to replace first. Quite a competition in the rotation and pen for the suckiest of the sucky pitcher.
  9. Looks like Griffin is out for the "1st round." Funny how that was phrased, like they'll have any other rounds. Love the way they put the hammer down the whole game, need to do that 3 more times. They need that take no prisoners attitude every game a of the playoffs for 4 quarters. Bucks have the luxury of a great bench, especially when Brogdon comes back. That allows the starters to go 100% on both ends of the court, because they can always rest a few minutes here and there to stay fresh.
  10. That's what Kratz and Voght moves seemed like, and both ended up helping them win games. At the very least, they needed catching depth in AAA and gave up as close to nothing as possible. Not every trade is a Yelich type trade.
  11. A couple hundred, but who's counting.
  12. My oh my.... First off, taking anyone for granted in the playoffs is a faux pas. Second, the Bucks haven't won a series in what, 18 years? Last, we are one injury from being in a 50/50 coin flip series. I'm hoping the Bucks take nothing for granted. Only if that player's name is Giannis Middlebledsoe.
  13. This conversation reminds me of talking finances with my wife. "We should be able to afford" buying this, having that.
  14. Keep in mind, Miller Park will need major repairs/ renovations in the relatively near future. Do you think they'll have any luck having the taxpayers pay for that? Me either. For example, I don't know how much it costs to replace the roof or make significant repairs but let's just say it isn't cheap. So they make a profit, but they need to put money aside for huge expenses like this coming down the road. Not to mention, we don't know how they're financing the big upgrades in Maryvale, if they plan to buy any other minor league affiliates, etc. There's so much that is unknown to say they can easily bump player payroll up to "x."
