  1. Also, you would need to use capital letters.
  2. Wow, position players really stacked! Pitching is a question mark, but man they'll score a lot of runs.
  3. Sorry to say, looks like another long year.
  4. Yea, even though the bench is shorter in the playoffs and starters get more minutes, Hill is a really nice piece to have coming off the bench. Sova is another guy like that, nothing flashy but will get you some minutes and play hard and smart on defense. Plus he's been shooting the 3 ball very well lately.
  5. Groundhogs Day is stupid too. Like a rodent can forecast the weather. I hate anything fun or traditional. Also why I don't listen to Uek. Baseball is about balls and strikes not funny stories.
  6. Bucks are having a historic season, on the verge of the playoffs. And this thread has been hijacked by people arguing about signing Hill next year and whether or not CHL is being a dick.
  7. Interesting post, thanks! I recall an article on Fangraphs that discussed Peralta's spin rate as high as 2,700. All 3 of these guys have immense potential. Now its all about consistency, and figuring out how to avoid the Yo effect. Which is how to get past 5 innings without throwing 100ish pitches. Getting through the lineup the 2nd time, even a 3rd time. Thats the stage elite pitchers get to, and stuff alone wont get you there.
  8. Coach Cooper would marvel at your stubbornness, but smack you upside your head for your lack of common sense. (wait, it was Coach Cooper, right FVBrewerFan?) It was, and thanks for the reminder. We need to keep jis memory alive in IGT.
  9. He must have hit it hard... but right at the Cardinals shortstop. Can we get Hiura up and Moose at short yet? Not quite yet, we'll let you know. It will be somewhere between never and the day after never.
  10. Just like the 100% chance Nelson would be the opening day starter?
  11. You say blatz is horrible what chu talking about!! oh pbr is so hipster and elicious but Blatz is just as good don even tell me!!!!!! Ic ecold you don't know any better!
  12. So disappointed Perez isn't in the lineup. Would have been a perfect way to start off the season for IGT.
  13. Depends who the big is. Gasol, for example, would be a good match-up for Brook. he can bang with him in the paint, and tough for Gasol to hang with Brook on the other side of the court. Horford, I can see Wilson guarding him more often- even Irsan. I think they actually have more options this year to guard bigs with those 3 guys, then there's Giannis of course.
  14. There were about 79 games LaRussa should have been thrown out of the game, but wasn't. Boo!
  15. I generally agree. However, he did have a really good spring. Could mean nothing, could be he figured out a way to get LH hitters out. I didn't see him pitch at all, so no idea. While I certainly wouldn't count on him being a late inning guy, it is possible. We can say he's never been good enough to take on that role, which is true until it isn't. Plenty of pitchers scattered across MLB past and present were able to put it all together, even for one season.
  16. Yea Middleton was shooting just fine until last night. It's not the shots not falling that concerns me. Come playoff time, the tendency is to slow down, and that's a killer for the Bucks. Coach Bud will need to do everything he can to get them to keep playing the way that got them here. Otherwise we're going to see a lot of Middleton fade aways with the shot clock winding down.
  17. That makes me feel reallllly tired just thinking about it. But have fun, wish I could still hang like that.
  18. I might be a little naive but no one in the east really scares me except Philly. Fully healthy I would agree, but missing some pieces you just never know. Maybe just lack of success from the Bucks in the playoffs in my life span, but I just am preparing for a disappointment come post-season. Yea, until the Bucks (or Brewers) win it all I will be nervous about every series. That said, I agree Philly worries me the most. Playoff experience, coaching, home court, style of play, etc., many things come into play. But in the NBA, #1 by far is talent- and Philly has the most talent.
  19. Let me guess, she was from the North side? Sounds exactly like a couple people I know. It is fascinating when someone is convinced something is true that can easily be proven wrong. Like you wouldn't know that was your customer? Weird, but like I said- definitely know the type.
  20. The difference between him and all the other bench guards (Patty C, DDV, Sterling Brown) is pretty steep, especially on the defensive end. Hill almost looks like he isn't trying hard and doesn't make the ridiculous plays like those 3, but he never makes a misstep and he's always in the right place. Just always perfectly under control. I don't agree. I think Brown is better on defense, he was all over Chris Paul last night. Pretty impressive for a guy with his body to be able to stay in front of Paul and be in his face as soon as he crossed mid-court. Both Brown and PC have a better overall game than Hill. They can score, rebound, offer a lot with their athleticism. That's not a knock on Hill, as Homer said he's a perfect fit coming off the bench. Just does what he needs to do, nothing more nothing less.
