unbelievable, the Cubs have al lefty bats on the bench and you don't have Braddock up and it's going to cost us the game! Roenicke'd. -
oh good! Loe vs. a lefty!
-
I just don't understand why we need 3 SS on the 25 instead of just stashing this guy in Nashville.

Hart activated; Almonte to 7-day DL (concussion)
MillerParkSouth replied to Jim Goulart's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Sounds like Almonte is going to head to AZ to get some ABs. There's no way that we actually bring him back to Milwaukee once he's healthy is there? There literally hasn't been one time since he's been gone that I've thought "could really use Almonte here." Especially now that Corey is back. Someone tell me i'm getting nervous about nothing. -
So we're going to put this guy on the big league club? why???
-
if Roenicke doesn't let Greinke bat, I will be angry. Even though we have an off-day tomorrow, I still like him out there for the 6th/7th than any combo our bullpen can provide. Especially since the pen covered a lot of innings last night. edit to say that I obviously wanted him kept in the game for his bat!
-
Only 20 pitches that inning and 61 overall through 4 for Zack. Would hope that he'd be able to go at least 6 still. Keep it at 3 runs and let our offense pick up the W today.
-
I mean, a lot of these aren't even tough plays that he's screwing up. They're literally hit right at him. It worked out ok tonight, but that's the kind of thing that could really kill us at some point.
-
my god Betancourt, that's two DP's that were literally hit right at you that you've botched in the last 4 days!!
-
Yuni giveth, Yuni taketh away. unbelievable.
-
Anybody remember the Harang vs. Capuano game a few years ago when Harang pitched 10 shut out innings? Kind of feels like one of those nights.
-
I have a by of a man crush on LuCroy. If he could start hitting with more power, itd be full blown.
-
nothing like Carlos Gomez in the 2 hole to help jumpstart a struggling offense.
-
I don't mind taking a shot there considering Gomez was going to be out anyways. I'm impressed that Carlos held up and didn't just run into the out at 2nd like I feel like he's done a couple of times this year.

Surprised it took so long for someone to make this thread. I honestly couldn't believe what I was reading yesterday. It's like they're actively trying to field the worst defense in major league history. I hated when Macha would put Edmonds out there but this would be significantly worse. I can't believe Melvin wouldn't step in and tell RRR what a terrible idea that is, but Melvin's the one who put Kotsay on the roster in the first place.

this team is in no position to be worried about individual accomplishments. Our season is on the line this weekend, we need to get the W.
-
Good thing we bunt so much! Hooray small ball! Right or wrong I'm blaming this on Roenicke.
-
Because Ron Roenicke is a terrible, terrible manager.
-
and the Counsell legend grows! So I saw that Morgan is going to be playing 3 games in Nashville to warm up, which seems excessive to me. It's not like we have guys on the bench up here tearing the cover off the ball. Give him a game, see how his thigh responds and then activate him!
-
big Gabe Gross fan. Was really disappointed when we traded him in '08, as I thought he would be a perfect platoon partner for Corey. Felt less bad about it after seeing him struggle so much after we cut him loose. I'll have to dust off the '08 game worn jersey I got at the clubhouse sale in his honor tonight.
-
Going to be Loe and not Ax in the 9th?
-
Bill is really going on about the fewest errors in the NL again. Someone should really clue him in that that doesn't necessarily mean that we're awesome at defense/
-
apparently Brad Mills wants Wandy's arm to fall off. Over 120 pitches right now. Hopefully he's nice and tired if we face him next weekend.
-
Is Roenicke unaware of the double switch? Why isn't cc playing short so green can go 2?
-
why oh why is Roenicke having Lucroy put the bunt on with Gomez on deck????
