    where is the benchmark of 50% coming from? and Jack Z. wasn't the gm...

    Gamel was from the 4th round and hart was an 11th round pick... jack z has made good picks all throughout the draft along these lines...he drafts high potential guys, so there's a decent burnout risk, but the fact that so many guy have made it to the majors is an excellent indication that he is good at his job...

    Im sure hernan iribarren will be in the running for his spot just because the tropical storm s out of options... there are at least 15 available guys that can do what craig did last year and more...here's hoping the brewers get someone with some upside

    In his short run here, Jack z produced 4 all star players and many other major leaguers...i'm really at a loss to the complaints...even in the years he didn't get a great first rounder, he took another player later that made up for it...like gallardo in the rogers year...the draft isn't just the first round, and nobody has been better at that than jack z.

    i like that second base ida...he could definitely hit for the same average as weeks...though we might need to pinch run every time he gets on base..

    They won't protect Rivas.. Cain and Aguilar are near locks...aguilar is the most likely...periard is a maybe---he's projectable, but he doesn't have one enormous tool like aguilar...in other words, there will be a bunch of guys like periard available.. welch won't be added unless the brewers really intend to try him in the majors this year... i can't see anyone else on that list, unless the brewers are just dying to keep some of those 7 year guys around..

    "Any hitters numbers will be much better in AA" Funny that you mention that, because other than braun, none of our mlb guys have hit like laporta and salome did at AA this year...Hart was the league MVP there a few years back with an .800 OPS

    I think Hart should be moved to the bench for the next two weeks...he's been Bill hall level bad since the all-star break...i'm actually beginning to doubt his long term role with the team...obp of .289? eeesh

    Cameron absolutely needs to be back next year.. also. i would expect that Mark A will raise payroll, not cut it...and if the Brewers go deep into the postseason i would think they'll just dump money on CC... They are going to have a lot of money to spend this offseason, ad i would bet they spend all of it..

    The reason cain hasn't played much cf is because Darren Ford was the fastest guy in the system...Lorenzo Cain, along with Brent Brewer, and hopefully Brett Lawrie are the only true 5 tool guys in the system...and cain is actually developing all 5 of them pretty quickly... this argument always comes off like one guy doesn't deserv to be a prospect...all of these guys are top 10 prospects for us.. oh, and lucroy is the one i'd hate to lose the most..

    pogo is short for ogopogo which is a lake monster somewhere...and kat was my video gam handle back when you got three letters...i've been using this since the mid 90's...i thought it was cool when i was 14...i'd probably be bradj now as that seems infinitely less goofy

    i'd love to see Fryer catch full time in Hawaii considering we saw mat gamel in hawaii last year, taylor green and matt lucroy might make sense for az, your guesses look pretty good to me...
