    Good topic. I am going to go with Jeffress as he is a veteran with closing experience and has done so in a Brewers uniform.

    I don’t know Ryan Braun on a personal level at all, but FWIW I happened to run into him at a nightclub years ago and he couldn’t have been nicer and mingled with lots of people (including fans) on the dance floor.

    I was at the Jenkins game (I think against Montreal) when he hit three homers and five (I think) in a two game stretch. Provided some entertainment on some pretty bad brewers teams.

    Yes please. I love and wear this hat all the time but continuously get “go blue” and other Michigan references shouted at me. As a Wisconsin fan it becomes rather annoying.

    Yep. Agree with the window really starting in 2019. I think that’s exactky why we didn’t pick up a pitcher at last year’s trade deadline and exactly why we didn’t overpay for Arrieta or Cobb this offseason.

    I have a feeling that it will be Suter and Miley because of Woodruff’s option with Yovanni going to the pen. Just a hunch but I think it’s likely.

    IIRC, Cain said he had another offer in hand and that he chose Milwaukee. I also remember seeing reports that Texas was pursuing him as well. Guessing that we overpaid but not by a ton.

    I know I am in the vast minority but I have many fond memories of that ugly 90’s era logo. Probably just because it was the logo of the team when I was coming of age as a fan.

    Just curious, but what is it about Burns’s minor league numbers that suggests he doesn’t at least have the potential to be a TOR guy some day?

    Doesn’t your trade proposal for Glasnow kind of give up the farm anyways? I think we do tend to overvalue our prospects but perhaps other Gm’s do too

    I really doubt that Pittsburgh is willing to trade Glasnow. Seems like the perfect season to see what they have in him.
