I don’t want baseball games to be shorter as I love going to baseball games and the longer I am there the better as far as I am concerned. If today’s “fans” aren’t able to summon the patience necessary to be there an extra five minutes I don’t think MLB needs to be catering to that demographic anyways. -
Was able to get some over the phone today even without being a season ticket holder. Pumped up!

Only $4.5M more a season for a #1 starter, instead of a #3? Sign me up for Jake Arrieta. (although for the record I think a team will offer him more than that.) What makes you say that Cobb is a number three?

I thought it worth mentioning on here that former 1970 Brewer Tito Francona passed away yesterday. Though he wasn’t a Brewer very long it is always sad to see guys from our inaugural season pass away. If I could choose one pitcher from anywhere in MLB that I would want the brewers to target and build around it would be Stroman.

I think he had more of a chance of being traded last season rather than now after his no trade clause kicked in. If we were going to move him I think it would have happened before then. I actually have really come around to the idea of keeping Santana and moving Braun to first for a platoon with Thames. Seems to make a ton of sense and to maximize Braun’s (still relevant) value to the team going forward.

I won’t argue with the two posters above who picked Ohtani but I just think it is SO difficult to know how international talent plays in MLB. Not saying he won’t be the next Ichiro but also not willing to bet against him being a bit overhyped either.

I like Salazar but love Stroman. If Stroman isn’t available now I would hope that we retain a few chips to make a big push for him at the deadline.

Good people? Why is Cap Anson in there then? Sosa, McGwire and all the steroid guys essentially saved baseball and made A TON of money for owners and the league itself. They should be in. Keep the awful racists like Schilling out, but Bonds absolutely should be in the HOF. Making a ton of money for owners is not the criteria which is used to determine Hall of Fame worthiness. -
I have seen several posters bring up Stroman.... he would be my ideal pick up but does anyone have any idea what Toronto would expect back for him if he’s even available at all?
