Actually that only happened once, 2008.Actually it happened both in 2007 and 2008.

    That's the world's biggest "if"

Aren't his home/road splits horrible? Isn't Texas a very hitter-friendly park? Either way, I've heard so many rumors about him being traded that I believe we could get him if we wanted him. They need starting pitching too, though... so I'm not sure what they would want from us.

how much money was the deal with the mariners for? why doesn't it mention that anywhere? I think a power lefty bat off the bench was exactly what the Brewers need. But if starting/full playing time is what he wanted, I can see why we didn't get him back.

    New Orleans and London. Yes.

Yes, please do keep 'em coming. I am going from Friday 8/29 until Monday 9/2 and I have never been to NYC. I am interested in doing a little bit of tourist stuff but I'd like to find some cool "real" places to hang out at night, too.

I don't know if I ever feel this way but I just feel bad for the Braves today.

For the past week or so I cannot get Google at my home. Also that Google Search box in Firefox doesn't work. It's completely odd and really annoying. Not sure what I can do about it. No other sites seem to be an issue.

I don't have a huge problem with Braun's trot or anything but I think you're missing the point. The point is that that hit was not a for-sure homerun and Braun should have been bursting out of the box and making sure he got at least a double out of it so that we could continue the inning.

Why is David Wright on the all-star team? Didn't he lose the final vote to Hart?

The look at Erin Andrews' face when that first guy called Morneau "Jason" was pretty funny.

i'm telling you... many low pitches being called strikes tonight. but either way we probably didn't deserve to win. oh well, time to go to the bar. let's try and get 2 out of 3 starting tomorrow. i'm going to both of those games, should be fun.

thank you cerveceros! cordero looks like he's been indulging in a lot of skyline chili over in the nasty 'nati

after watching this team for the past two years I actually like our chances better against a #1 or #2 starter than some no-name guy. but I know what you mean. on paper the match-up tomorrow does not look favorable. anyone else think this ump has called multiple strikes that were definitely too low?

hall and cameron are hitting to the other side of the field lately... that's always a good sign. come on crew. stick a blown save on cordero.

the defense really killed us today. everyone pitched decently, but those errors killed.

and now *I* will be negative and say that Prince Fielder sure does have good stats for the way he looks at the plate sometimes. He sure seems to swing at junk a lot.

agreed. if there's one thing i've learned from coming to this message board, it's that many brewer fans completely overreact. yes, we are sucking in this game... but we have had a successful season so far. relax. it's just one game. and thank you jason kendell for being a very smart catcher
  19. chadomac
i want to murder fans that interfere. is that wrong?
  20. chadomac
    you suck
  21. chadomac
you are a bad human being

    12 runs, 10 pitches

I'm not sure what the Rockies need but I would really like to get Fuentes for the second half of this season. Another starter would be nice but I'm not sure how Maddux would do in Miller Park with our not-so-great defense.
  24. chadomac
okay let's try and get Brian Fuentes now!

I want one of those I Hart NY shirts.
