"Jeff Passan of ESPN reports that the Dodgers and Tigers had agreed to a deal for Eduardo Rodriguez, but the left-hander invoked his no-trade clause and the deal is now dead.
Wow. The 30-year-old southpaw has a list of 10 teams that he must approve a trade to, and the Dodgers were on his list. It’s unclear if he demanded any sort of extra compensation to waive the clause, or if he flat out didn’t want to go to the Dodgers. He remains one of the top available arms in a pitching-hungry market though, and there’s still an hour remaining for the Tigers to shop him elsewhere."
