  1. Probably the Cubs, Cardinals, Pirates or Reds so Keston can be a Brewer killer for the next 5 years. Honestly, seeing him with the Cubs or Cards would be be icing on the cake.
  2. Watched ALIVE yesterday. That is a movie that will make you think about a lot of things. If you haven't watched it for some unknown reason, do it! Re-watched both Anchorman movies last weekend. Though both are entertaining and have their moments, I feel like they have been elevated above where they should be on the "great" movie scale... Still worth the watch. Tried to sit through Dudley Moore's ARTHUR today. Made it through about 20 minutes, and that was enough. Not sure why that one ever made my collection to begin with, but it's a goner now.
  3. Has anyone seen Wednesday? Is it worth my time?
  4. My son who just completed his grad work at the University of Montana, just got his first real job in the same state. He absolutely loves it there, so this was good news. (Not that I like him being that far away, but it is what it is. It's a beautiful state, so even though we've already been there twice, I'm sure there are a few more trips to follow)
  5. This is always my complaint t Brewers games, it's a constant thing and annoying as hell. I also love actually missing game action while people are standing, shuffling along in the rows in front of me, on their way out (or back in) to get food, use restrooms, or whatever. Back in the day, the ushers didn't let you go back to your seat until the inning ended or between half innings. Wish they would start doing this again.
  6. I am paying less than $100 per month with TDS. That includes cable, internet, and landline phone. Same exact package (except I don't get the AMC channel) with spectrum was $250. Dropped them like a hot potato as soon as TDS hit our area. Price is guaranteed for 2 years, at which point it will probably double, then I will go and get spectrum again for their low introductory price, and so forth... Competition is great!
  7. CHAMPIONS was a good flick. Nothing new and groundbreaking, but a really decent feel good flick!
  8. Yeah, I don't see a problem with this at all. It is relevant to the original thread.
  9. Saw Creed III yesterday and really enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for the Rocky franchise. (I do admit though, seeing the beatings these guys take in the movies, and knowing full well that in real life, there would be death or total and complete brain damage, I find some of the unrealistic beatings to be a bit much. Was the same throughout all the Rocky and Creed movies though, so this isn't anything new)
  10. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm still hoping we trade him before this season gets going... Trading him at the deadline would be pretty foolish, as you have stated above, but if we want to max out the haul, trading him now, with 2 years left before free agency seems to be the wise thing to do. If we wait until this off season, and he only has one year left, we won't be getting nearly the haul we would get now. imo All it would take is for one of the big time contenders to lose a big arm due to injury in spring training. Teams would come calling if they need a starter, and that is when it's time to take what we can get in a major haul!
  11. All I know is that watching any of these three guys leave is going to be painful, but it's part of the deal, and the way things are in today's game. Sad as it is.
  12. If we are going to rely on Winker and Naquin as outfielders with any substantial amount of playing time, while we have guys like Frelick and Wiemer just banging on that door, it will be a travesty. EVERY game counts (as we once again found out last season), we need to put the best team on the field from day one. If that means Frelick starts from the 1st game on, so be it.
  13. I'll enjoy a shorter game watching on TV, but in person, at the ballpark, I think I might feel a bit cheated.
  14. If a trade with BAL doesn't happen now, before Henderson and Rodriguez get a true foothold in MLB, it won't happen. The deadline will be way too late, by that time, one or both could be superstars!
  15. I don't know about everyone else, but 2 1/2 hour games seem too short.
  16. Chourio is not in any way a comparison to Grisham. I mean, those two guys are on totally separate planets.
  17. I like these changes, and if the thumbs down causes an issue, I'll be shocked.
  18. I feel like Super Bowl Sunday is just a way for people to act like they care who wins the game. It seems to me like a lot of people fake interest in the game itself. I never give a rip about the super bowl unless my team is playing. (2 times has this happened in my life, both times, my team won!) There have been some super bowls I don't even bother tuning into. I simply don't care. The halftime shows have become nonsense that only the young crowd can enjoy. I mean, there have been artists that are so big they can play the super bowl halftime show, yet I have never even heard of them. The entire build up is so commercially driven that it turns me off. The best thing about the super bowl is that it brings us that much closer to baseball season.
  19. Where is the best place to grab a burger/shuttle coming from the North? (Fox Cities)
  20. That is beyond ridiculous. Why people use these sites is beyond me.
  21. Does it taste exactly like the stuff in the restaurant? Sometimes, the restaurant branded stuff just isn't as good as the stuff that is actually served in the restaurant.
  22. Trading Houser now, after his 2022 season would be selling low. See where we are into spring training. I see people saying teams with injuries might need him, hell, we could be one of those teams with injuries, so trading him with such a low value now would be stupid.

  24. Might be a stupid question, but for those of us who are not gamers, will this show make sense if not having played the games? (the Last Of Us)
