    How did Joey hit right handed pitchers when Hamilton was on the IL? What were his splits during that time only? I'm not buying the platoon thing, it's just too strange that he has played only 5 times in the last 14 games, and only twice the last 10 games. Even for Pancakes, this is just bizarre to take one of, if not THE hottest hitter from your line-up this often.

    In the last 6 games, Joey has started one time, August 3rd against the Pirates. Going back to when Hamilton came off the IL: 7/24 - Joey started at SS - Hamilton at 3B 7/25 - No Joey 7/26 - Joey started 7/27 - Joey started 7/28 - No Joey 7/29 - No Joey 7/31 - No Joey 8/1 -Joey started 8/2 - No Joey 8/3 - Joey started 8/4 - No Joey 8/5 - No Joey 8/6 - No Joey 8/7 - No Joey So since Hamilton was activated 14 games ago, Joey has been on the bench 9 games, played SS once, and 3B 4 times. Hamilton has started at 3B - 10 of 14 games. Joey has started 2 times in the last 10 games... This is NO platoon. This is a disgrace!

    When Healthy, Pena has been hitting. Not for the power I was hoping for, but when able to take the field, he hits. If he had been healthy all season, I believe he would have made the jump to AA by now, and I don't even think it's a question. Hopefully, he can stay healthy next season, if so, I think we will all be really happy we didn't include him in any trades.

    I think Fischer, Burke, and Adams end up fighting for the 1B and DH positions. I don't believe that Fischer's defense is going to cut it at 3B, and I honestly think that is where Made makes his debut. That leaves 1B and DH, and we don't have room for all 3. One of these young men undeservedly is going to get moved at some point in the next year or so. I think Adams gets first crack at the big leagues in 2027, followed closely by Burke or Fischer. I think Burke is our 1B of the future, and if we hang onto Fischer, our mashing DH. I love Adams, I'm just not sure he is the one to lay claim to a starting position compared to the other 2 guys. we shall see!

    When he was our hottest hitter, playing every day, no matter what arm the pitcher threw with, did it matter then? It's just so odd that he is suddenly an afterthought to our line-up after being so vital for a month or so... Ok, I'm done now. It's amazing that anyone can defend Murphy on this when offense has been a weakness, and one of our better offensive and defensive players has become meaningless.

    In the last 5 games, Joey has started one time, August 3rd against the Pirates. He is not playing every other day. Not even close! I'm surprised you'd be ok with benching one of our hottest hitters when offense with this team is at a premium. Going back to when Hamilton came back from the IL: 7/23 - No Joey 7/24 - Joey started at SS - Hamilton at 3B 7/25 - No Joey 7/26 - Joey started 7/27 - Joey started 7/28 - No Joey 7/29 - No Joey 7/30 - No Joey 7/31 - No Joey 8/1 -Joey started 8/2 - No Joey 8/3 - Joey started 8/4 - No Joey 8/5 - No Joey 8/6 - No Joey So since Hamilton was activated 15 games ago, Joey has been on the bench 10 games, played SS once, and 3B 4 times. Hamilton has started at 3B 11 of 15 games. Make it make sense...

    It truly angers me what is happening with Joey. You put him on the bench permanently, during a time when he literally was one of, if not, the best hitter on the team, and completely shut him down. It's almost like Murphy is actually just being a mean old man for some reason. How can we expect him to hit like before when he is absolutely just buried on the bench? What possible situation do you take a HOT hitter, and without an injury, you just completely ignore him? His defense is far better than Hamilton, his offense has been far better, yet here we are? Is Murphy just being a dick? Proving a point that he has power? I just don't understand it...

    Isn't this 5 games in a row now? This makes no sense, none, zilch, nada. Someone needs to ask Pancakes the tough question.

    2026 Skenes has looked nothing like 2025 Skenes. I won't be surprised in the least if he isn't going to ask to be traded in 2027 or during the off season.

    Yet they were willing to trade our #11 and #13 the Cardinals... I agree, not a chance they trade Made in the division, but I would have bet against that Cardinal trade too.

    So far, me benching Chourio on my 3 fantasy teams has worked out great for the Brewers! I have him benched tonight as well, so expect another big night from the kid! You are welcome!

    No Joey is infuriating. I just can't understand it. I really wish a member of the post game Murphy love-fest would out and out ask him why Joey has become bench fodder after a month of strong production. Maybe his kids could ask him?

    Well, everyone keeps saying that May was the 2nd best pitcher available, if that is the case, I'd bet he is surely wanting at least a 3 year deal worth north of 60 million...
