    Exactly! When we got him, I thought it was with the purpose of multiple inning relief duties. Just another odd situation with a RP at the deadline. Add that to the JoJo being hurt, and not being able to pitch until the end of the month, and it just doesn't make a lot of sense.

    I talked to a guy, who knows a guy that knows Tayden Hall. That guy said that Tayden told him he was going to retire as a player after this season and turn his attention to coaching... Not a single clue if this is true, that's how rumors start, but just sharing.

    I never understood why so many people would give him likes. Those poems were just plain bad... An English teacher would have flunked the poor guy. But there he was, every single game, posting away, and people here liking the posts just fueled the fire. Humans are weird.

    Whatever happened to the guy who did the rhyming poem at the beginning of every IGT? I just realized he hasn't been here all season. Man did I hate those stupid poems...

    This is exactly why Joey in the platoon makes zero sense. I'll leave it up to the stat guys to find out what his splits were while Hamilton was on the IL, those are the stats that would really cement whether it's a good idea for Joey to sit so much.

    I can't help but think that after the year Bauers has had, he'll get a 3 year deal someplace, maybe 3 at 36? We should not do that, 2 is max I'd consider.

    Except, we don't know what he'd do in a full time role at 1B and/or DH. He might be an absolute bargain for 10 million if he plays every day, but in our current managerial decision making, we'll never know.

    I'm not trying to argue anything. What were Joey's splits while Bunty was on the IL? I just want to know if what Pancakes is doing makes any sense,,, I know what a platoon is, and its purpose. I'd like to be able to see what Murphy is actually seeing, or if he is just making excuses to get his man-crush in the game as often as possible.
