    So in your defense of Frelick, that swing where he drops his back leg, that's not causing any of his bad luck? If that isn't fixed, nothing is going to even out, it will probably get even worse.

    Actually, he does do some dumb things, and even though this is in blue, just imagine how even better those numbers would be if he just made better in-game decisions during those times he does the really dumb things...

    Not to be a buzzkill, but to me personally, I'm amazed at how well the Cubs have done with their pitching staff injuries... I get it, we're Brewers fans and we see things with Brewers goggles, but the fact that the damn Cubs are where they are with their own laundry list of injuries is also quite remarkable.

    Yeah, c'mon, we don't need dogs at ballgames. I get it, to some people, they are like family members, more-so than some people family members, but really, we need them at baseball games?

    Are they worried about service time with Lara? If so, I understand that, but at some point, if our current outfield (minus Chourio) continues to kill us, it will be time to make the change. I'm not up on the rules, but if we bring Lara up after June 1st, doesn't that help with the service time issue? I'm just not seeing it with Mitchell, and losing Lockridge hurts more that I care to admit. Love Sal, but we have to get better production from him, we just have to. We can't continue to have three or four guys hitting every night that are pretty much automatic outs. Something is going to have to give before it's too late.

    Man, I am so bitter on Mitchell... I can honestly say, I don't believe he is ever going to be our answer to CF. I mean, he hasn't even been hurt yet and is giving us nothing of value. I would rather see Lockridge(hopefully his stay on the IL isn't too lengthy) out there, and I never would have thought I'd say that this season. I won't go as far as to say the same about Perkins though.

    But can he apply the tag like Baez? That is the burning question.

    They only chance we have at extending/locking up Miz is in the hopes he thinks security is more important than waiting around hoping he is still healthy when he has his first crack at a free agent contract. If he thinks he can pitch the next 6years and not get seriously hurt, then he isn't signing an extension with us, no possible chance. If he would like a shot at security and generational wealth, and would rather not risk it, then the chance exists. A slight very low % chance, but a chance none the less. I'm standing by what I said earlier though, that ship has sailed.
