  1. I feel bad for Manfredi having to pitch in Colorado. Every time I see a pitcher get traded/drafted/picked off the wire/etc., I always want to know their true feelings about becoming a Rockie...
  2. I'm asking because I don't know, but when is the last time he started a game that wasn't as an opener?
  3. Agreed, but that doesn't excuse this trade. We got fleeced by a division rival for two players we already have on the roster. One of which is on the IL for the next two weeks minimal. The FO made a mistake, it's ok to admit it and still be a fan of the Brewers and their front office.
  4. I'm guessing it would have to be Knoth and Adams/Burke, and probably another lower level guy. UGH! I don't trust what Arnold will do next.
  5. Ok, I'll give you that, but this front office made a big mistake today. I know they can't be perfect, but this is a loss, a big giant stinky pile of crap loss. Again, it's ok to criticize the front office when they deserve to be critisized. Today is that day.
  6. This trade destroys any confidence I have in the Brewers front office. I know, a lot of knee jerk reactions and hot takes today, but I just can't believe we allowed the Cardinals of all teams to bend us over like this. It's soul-sucking...
  7. I disagree with so much of this, that I am not going to comment other than to say, I disagree.
  8. Please explain how you "know" Ragsdale is overperforming? Like I said earlier, I saw him in person 20 times in Appleton, the dude is a star in the making, he's not overperforming in the least. He's doing it every damn day. Please...
  9. I got to see Ragsdale play in Appleton for a few months, he's legit. He's got star written all over him, and was climbing fast. It's a loss.
  10. Nice positive spin, but this trade is bad. It's ok to criticize the Brewer's front office, it really is. Relax.
  11. Yeah, this is really false. Every other trade before this one was pretty underwhelming returns for the big name guys. We got fleeced...
  12. We'll see how you feel in a couple of years when these guys rip our hearts out several times per season... Ragsdale sooner obviously, but 3 years from now, they could be 2/3 of their starting outfield, and we will look back on this trade and cry.
  13. There is always a choice, and this time, his choice was to be fleeced by a team in our own division. This is gross, REALLY GROSS! Screw Arnold. I'd have thought those two players could have headlined a Skubal trade. If this is the price we paid, I'd have been happy to stand pat and do nothing, nothing at all. GROSS.
  14. I do find it interesting that May was a Dodger prospect, and if he can help beating them in the playoffs, that would be a nice little side story to knocking off Goliath!
  15. I don't mind getting these guys, but until we see what we had to give up, I'm withholding judgement. Both players are rentals, so it BETTER not be too much... I'd hate to see players we trade the freaking Cardinals beat us down for the next half decade.
  16. How can you possibly know this until we learn what we had to give up?
