  1. This is our top 30 according to mlb.com https://www.mlb.com/milb/prospects/brewers You are telling me that you'd be willing to give up two of the top 20 players on this list for Senzatela? Seriously? Which two? I think this would be a crazy, irresponsible, whacky, out of control move, and it would never happen.
  2. Wait, he was moved to AA? I thought he just got to Wisconsin?
  3. Their current offensive roster is a shell of what it was on opening day...
  4. I think there is a delicate balance between talent, and all those other things... Chemistry/culture are extremely important no doubt, but without talent, it's already over...
  5. Great point! Welcome!
  6. Doesn't he play in Canada? I can't imagine that is convenient for travel. Isn't Canada cold?
  7. Making moves because he can make moves. He's a horrible gametime decision maker, and I will die on that hill.
  8. It's so odd seeing this hat logo with that uniform.
  9. Just curious, who would be our catcher in 2028 if we dumped Quero? We have one more season with Contreras, and probably a 1% chance of resigning him, if we trade Quero, what is our catcher plan for the future?
  10. UGH! My bet is if you made that offer to the Twins, they'd accept so fast it would make your head spin... That is soooooo much to give, too much, way too much.
  11. 2 top 20 prospects for a rental RP not named Miller? Dude...
  12. Man, it would be nice to have a board rule where text speak was not allowed.
  13. The fact the Brewers were on his list though, is just crazy. The Brewers consistently win, and he doesn't want to play for a winner? Don't we have a top 5 winning % in the last decade, and yet, this guy puts us on his no trade list? Kind of funny really.
  14. Miller is going to cost more in prospects and SP than Skubal. I shudder thinking about the pricetag the Padres are going to ask for.
  15. I think Hardin is a shoe-in for sometime in 2027, especially if we trade away a couple of the guys you mentioned in the first post. I don't want to trade him, he stays. I would put Henderson and Drohan on the NO TRADE list. These two guys should be our future along with Harrison and Miz. I'd trade Gasser without thinking twice about it. Sproat too if it had to be done, but I wouldn't like it. C-Rod and Crow too, I don't see any kind of future with the Brewers, but maybe another team might? C-Rod is probably close to worthless as a trade chip at this point.
  16. Miller might cost even MORE than Skubal.
  17. Not THOSE prospects (Pena). Pena needs to be off the table for any relief pitcher. Once they ask for him, conversation over if that is what they require to get a deal done.
  18. That is beyond Gross, that is crazy, absolutely batsh*t crazy, I'm laughing on the phone right in the Padres face if that is what they want from us, I'm fine with Jett, Crow and Koenig, replace Letson with Gasser, but I am a solid NO WAY if that deal must include Pena. Don't forget, we are on the hook for that Miller salary the next three seasons too. Way to much to pay for a closer, we do fine in house with our closers. I just can't see giving up Pena in a deal for a relief pitcher, then on top of that, paying his contract for that long. I'm a NO on this deal, straight up no frickin' way!
  19. MLB.com’s Adam McCalvy reports the Brewers are “prepared to adopt a more aggressive approach at the trade deadline” and have touched base with the Tigers about Tarik Skubal and the Padres about Mason Miller. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the Brewers will get either player — or that either player will be traded at all — but it’s a notable shift from Milwaukee’s usual deadline strategy. “I’ve been on the phone a lot,” Brewers president of baseball told McCalvy. “We’re definitely active.” The Brewers are clearly looking to snag a bye in the National League playoffs. Skubal’s availability seems to come and go as the Tigers win and lose games — it sounds like if a Skubal deal does come it’ll be one that happens on August 3, the actual day of the deadline. - Rivers McCown 53m ago Source: MLB.com
  20. Be nice if we truly knew what was going on with Harrison. Are we getting the full story on the Miz? I've seen it reported that he was starting Sunday, then he wasn't, and now he's back to starting again? Forgive me for not 100% trusting the front office on injury severity. Yeah, Skubal, Miz and Harrison would be great! But if Harrison is going to be back and forth on the IL from here on out, does Skubal solve our issues if we trade Henderson for him? So yeah, adding Skubal to Miz and Harrison would be pretty freakin' sweet, as long as he's being added to Miz and Harrison, not Miz and Drohan, or Harrison and Drohan...
  21. If he continues to progress, I absolutely can see him being in our rotation in 2 years... I'd rank him above Sproat, Gasser and Crow for sure! Miz, Harrison, Henderson, Drohan and Hardin in 2028 is not out of the question... That still leaves Letson as a possibility in 2028 as well. I'd be willing to trade Gasser, Sproat, and Crow, but I'm hanging on tightly to Henderson and Drohan, and I would be pretty disappointed if we move Hardin.
  22. Buy low on Henderson, sure thing, but pay up in top prospects, no way...
  23. Man, I really thought they'd have him catch a few games in Appleton before the promotion. The dismantling of the Timber Rattlers continues... Up next: Pena, Payne, Bitonti, Knoth, Torres?
