    For me personally, it still stings giving up Arienamo for a catcher that has not offered us a damn thing so far, and who walks after the season ends. Blocked or not, Jadher showed a lot of promise, and you just never know what is going to happen in the future. I do not think all the activity in his swing is going to play in the majors, but there is still time to address that. Just didn't like the trade, and still don't. Hopefully Jansen changes my mind in the coming weeks, and does something, anything, to make us better.

    It's a mistake to count on Mitchell at all. Collins is a starting OFer in 2026, book it!

    Nope, never said that. All these recent platoon starts with Seigler are asinine. No, I don't think Durbin should start all 162, but he shouldn't be in a platoon with a far worse player either.

    I don't know what baffles me more, Murphy continuing to start Seigler over Durbin, or people here defending it. Seigler should not be taking at bats from Durbin. His bat stinks, and his defense isn't in the same universe as Durbin. Seigler shouldn't be taking at bats from Durbin, and he shouldn't be playing defense instead of Durbin.

    Problem is, when Murphy is calling the shots, and for whatever reason, starting Bauers tempts him, it isn't that silly to want to remove temptation. Bauers has no relevance to this team, yet there he is. As long as he is on the roster, Murphy will think about, and at times, start him. My fear is that Murphy come playoff time, will want to use him based on some ridiculous gut feeling (kind of like RRR starting Kotsay in center freaking field). We know it will happen, we just know it.

    This Bauers/Siegler thing just has to end. Siegler should be taking no at bats away from Durbin, ever. There is no chance we keep Bauers over Hoskins on the playoff roster, so what in the hell is Murphy doing? We know what we have in Bauers, and it ain't gonna cut it. It's maddening.

    Ok, that would be awesome, but not sure how to gage interest levels... I'd like it back, but I'm just one guy. lol

    4-3 Cubs in the 5th... A little early to know the outcome of this game eh. I did my best to help the Brewers out by starting Imanaga on a fantasy team. If I start him , he gets shelled, if I bench him, he pitches a gem. So I did my part.

    Yeah, it was a bummer when the TRADING POST disappeared shortly after new ownership to the site... Maybe @Brock Beauchamp would consider starting it back up if there was enough interest?

    I really want to disagree with this, but I can't. I'm wondering if he bought into his own hype? I mean, he's just a kid, some of what was going on had to effect him. I think he can fill a roll on the roster, but I don't think he is a starter right now. Maybe a multiple inning relief guy.

    Why do you feel the need to constantly tell others how to post, how to feel, and how to act. If the IGT threads irritate you so much, I'd suggest you don't check into the IGT threads. Just knock it off.

    So we weaken the line-up, even with an off day tomorrow? I don't like it, which means Bauers goes 3 for 4 with a homer and 3 rbis, and Perkins robs a homer at the wall in the 9th inning.

    The only reason this board is considering Urias is because he was a Brewer. If he was a random guy with no Brewer ties who became available, and people looked at his stats (if anyone would even bother), people wouldn't even think about adding him. He's a 100% non-factor, just a body.

    Good catch by Frelick, but one that every RF in MLB should catch. Just not as spectacular as Rock and BA are making it out to be.

    I'm starting to agree with this What are the odds of him having TJ surgery in those 6 years. Not a chance he stays healthy while we have him, something bad is going to happen, just a matter of when. Ride him out for those 6 years and see what happens. No need to get on the hook for 100 million, just wouldn't be prudent.

    Lockridge has not looked like a good fielder though. Small sample size of course, but same could be said for his hitting so far, small sample size. To me, he seems like a dime a dozen type of guy, and we gave up too much to get him. It was a gross trade.

    Seigler up to bat right now is exactly why Murphy annoys the crap out of me on a regular basis. Bad enough we have Bauers hitting this inning, but he and Seigler? Asinine. Just asinine.
