    Winker is a douche. he should be embarrassed to even show his face here given how horrible he was last year. It's pretty well documented that he isn't very likeable, even by his own teammates, so screw him. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    I've never understood the Nickelback hate. They have a ton of great tunes, and continue to rock, which is a lost art...

    We don't have to add a 3B really. If we decide to just keep Ortiz there, we can be on the look out for a 2B, assuming Turang slides to SS. Are there better options out there for a 2B than a 3B? We do have some options coming soon in the pipeline at 3B, so maybe what I am suggesting makes sense? We are stuck with Hoskins, and I agree, he'll be better this year than last being another year removed from his injury, but will he be good enough that we feel comfortable with him as our full time 1B? I'd say no, and we'll add another reclamation project like Bauers. (ugh)

    The reality of the situation is this: We need to add a bat to this line-up based on 2024. Now we need to add two bats, one to replace Adames, and one to just plain add. We'll have Yelich back, but that doesn't count. We need to add another 2 bats to Yelich, Chourio, and Contreras, Where we add those bats and who they will be is for the front office to figure out, but it has to be legit candidates, not wish and a prayer type players. On top of that, we have to improve the starting rotation, so I'm not sure all of it can or will all be addressed this off season.

    I fully believe that we win tomorrow's game, only to be gut punched on Thursday. Begs the question, would we rather lose the series in 2, or draw it out, only to be psychologically devastated after 3 games? I'll even go as far as to say that if we win tomorrow, I can see us winning the series on Thursday...

    Why do people keep saying that Adames made a bad play. He had no shot at an out at 1B or 2B even if he fields that ball cleanly. The Chourio error was the nail in the coffin, add that to Peralta's 2nd inning, Payamps not properly covering 1B, and the Bauers at bat with bases loaded, and we have a bunch of reasons this game is the way it is.

    Where is it written in stone that we must, at all costs, follow that line of thinking? It's just stupid when that leads to Jake Bauers starting a playoff game hitting behind Adames. Adames might not see anything to hit all game... I'm posting this, hoping against all hope that I jinx myself, and Bauers has a big hit in him at some point in this game. 🙃
