  1. Has there been any discussion whether this group of picks will play actual games the remainder of the year? The minor league season lasts till mid September this year so plenty of time for 40-45 games to get started.
  2. And keep in mind we have 8 DH games left on our schedule to get plenty of abs for everyone
  3. And by trading for him in this way, the brewers would inherit the remaining part of his salary, approx 3 million plus a 1 mill buyout for next year. No way Milwaukee does this
  4. How about Jose Ramirez for Urias, Small, Gray and Chourio
  5. Just a couple off the cuff ideas that would be pretty big additions Brewers acquire Starling Marte Marlins acquire Tyrone Taylor and Freddy Zamora Brewers acquire Trey Mancini and Paul Fry Orioles acquire Adrian Houser, Keston Hiura, and Peyton Henry
  6. Put me on board for Tyler Black from Wright St for pick 33
  7. In the last 8 games, the Brewers have sent out their big 3 five times. July 4, Peralta vs Tyler Anderson. July 5, Woodruff vs Tylor Megill July 7, Burnes vs deGrom July 10, Peralta vs Gutierrez July 11, Woodruff vs Castillo Starters gave up a grand total of 8 runs in their first 6 innings We faced 3 average pitchers and two good to great pitchers. Team record in those 5 games : 0-5 That cannot happen. We had an opportunity to put a stranglehold on this division by just winning 2 of those games and we missed it .
  8. For me it has to do with being able to enjoy this draft tonight. I’ve been looking forward to it for a while. And a worrying series that wiped away a significant portion of all the gains this team made in just one week, and now no games for 4 days, makes my enjoyment of the draft tonight less likely .
  9. Right, the dicks are the ones who say it wasn't a bad call, not the people questioning people's fandom because they don't think it was a bad call. So far, there isn’t one person who agreed with you It's everything about your "I'm right and there's clear proof" to all your posts, despite the fact that it's just your opinion, no matter how silly it is.
  10. I think there are people on this board who unconsciously root against the Brewers cause they weren’t built the way they think they should have been built
  11. Don’t sit there and blatantly say he was clearly off the bag. Nobody can say that. That’s ridiculous to even remotely state that
  12. How about Starling Marte? Free agent after this year, 2.3 WAR player so far this year, with good on base skills and defense. We have been focusing on corner infield possibilities and rightly so, but adding him may be exactly what the team needs , especially if Hiura and Urias do the job at the corners.
  13. Just a heads up, These posts have gotten on the 2020 miscellaneous news thread as opposed to the 2021 thread.
  14. Didn’t Wes Obermueller have one into the 8th at Washington 10 years ago or so
  15. You want a good doppelgänger voice for Woodruff, youtube an interview with pga golfer Patton Kizzire. They are identical
  16. I’ll be honest, and it’s slightly , but only slightly tinted with some rose color, But i think we have a hall of famer on our hands with Mitchell. Extremely small sample, but 15 PAs with no pro experience, and he’s only struck out once, and has made hard contact in basically all balls put in play. I think the Brewers have a long term superstar on their hands here. Never been more excited on a prospect in this system.

  18. Nolan Bratt tweeted Justin Turner to the Brewers confirmed. Does anybody know if this means anything or was he being funny
  19. In my opinion, when all the data a studies of this are done, it is going to be concluded that this was a largely shared ventilation situation. I have a guy feeling that 80 plus percent of all spreading of this is of people in the same large buildings sharing a ventilation system .
  20. I think one of the most useful set of data we could all use as a country is in what situations is the virus most likely to spread in significant amounts. Is it spread in retail situations Is it spread in larger gatherings Is it spread in nursing homes and long term care facilities Is it spread in apartment complexes Is it spread in hospitals Is it spread in open air parks and recreation places Is it spread in office buildings Etc.... I live in Cambria county in Pa, and I work as a pharmacist in a very busy Walmart. We have a total of 21 cases cumulatively in our county since mid March, and 0 cases in the zip code that my Walmart is located. Walmart has been open the entire time this has been going on and in the 6 weeks since this has become a major issue, I have not heard of one case or even one almost case involving any Walmart employee or customer. This leads me to believe that under proper precautions , the retail spread threat is relatively low. My bet is 50,000 people have wandered about that store over those 6 weeks, most without masks or gloves, Plenty of them high risk people, and still no cases at all. So we need to know what situations cause the most likely risk of significant spread, and I assume we can decipher most of this by contact tracing and questionnaires of positive cases of where they have been, etc. The point of the major shutdowns was to flatten the curve, and it appears that has been done in even the most hard hit areas. The point of the shutdown was not to reduce the new cases to 0. Therefore we need to know what situations are pretty darn safe so we can safely and successfully reopen as early as today in most places in this country.
  21. Billy Hamilton signed with the Giants a few weeks ago
