  1. Maldonado just had one of the greatest throws to second for a caught stealing I've ever seen.
  2. This makes the Garza deal look even better. Almost the exact same deal and we don't have to give up a draft pick.
  3. I love watching the biathlon, the shooting segments are so intense, the targets are tiny and one miss can kill your chance at a medal. Behind curling, it's the event I look forward to the most.
  4. Cirillo v2 has to be up there, he looked done in Seattle and suddenly comes back to Milwaukee and hits like it's 1999.
  5. JIM BOWDEN ‏@JimBowdenESPNxm 1h The delay in the Garza/Brewers deal was NEVER about health…the overall contract language & clauses have just not all been agreed to yet Good news if true.
  6. No, it's $9.99 a month all the time, you just have to commit to 6 months at a time. You'll still be billed monthly, but this prevents people from signing up just to see a PPV for $10 and cancelling it.
  7. Which stinks, because if I could just buy MLB.tv and see every Brewer game I would be able to cancel cable. Of course, that's why they do it, because of the mad TV money they're getting.
  8. I went to Boston in 2011, the last time the Brewers played there. Fantastic city, fantastic ballpark, if you get a chance to go, do it. There were a ton of Brewer fans there, to the point we were asked by multiple Boston fans why so many Brewer fans made the trip, they were comparing it to how Yankee fans travel to Boston. Though since the Brewers are visiting for their home opener, it may be tougher to get tickets.
  9. With as terrible as this season has gone, is it too early to look ahead to the 2014 schedule? Some tidbits have been released. According to this article by ESPN Boston, the Brewers will be in Boston for the Red Sox home opener April 4. Also, according to this article from the Tampa Bay times, the Brewers will travel to Tampa to face the Rays in a three-game series. Since we know which two teams the Brewers face on the road in interleague next year, we know the Yankees, Blue Jays and Orioles will all be visiting Miller Park in 2014. Two for a three-game series, the other will be a two-game home-and-home.
  10. The second post on this page lists all of the radio crews for each team and what innings they do. Looks like most teams use the Brewers model.
  11. He buried him by not allowing him to get any heat on him. Having Hennig beat down HHH and putting him out would allow him to brag for weeks about taking out the Game, only for HHH to return and set up a PPV match that might actually get the guy over and draw some money, which is kind of the point. Instead, they end the show with the HHH can't continue thing, which puts all of the focus on him, makes Hennig a complete afterthought, doesn't put anyone over and won't draw a dime.
  12. When I thought Michael McGillicutty was the worst ring name I've ever heard, along comes Curtis Axel. Just let the poor guy be Joe Hennig. And of course HHH has to bury him on his very first night with the new horrible name. Way to build stars WWE. No wonder the product is in the toilet.
  13. Scheels would be your best bet, if they don't have them, no one will. I don't recall seeing them there though, they might be Brewers Shop exclusives.
  14. FWIW, there is reduced-sodium V-8. Ya Hawing, I know I know. My wife informs me of that too I think I'll give it a run, but it's not as good as the real thing. At least I'm having this debate instead of weather or not I should be drinking diet or regular Mt Dew, or something like that. Ever try V8 V-Fusion? Love that stuff, a serving of fruits and veggies in every 8 ounces, and almost no sodium. Tastes just like fruit juice, can't even taste the veggies.
  15. Mexico doesn't have anymore games unless Italy beats the US and the US beats Canada. Even then it's a tiebreak situation and run differential determines who advances.
  16. Estrada gets tagged for four runs by Canada in the top of the first. How crazy would it be if Italy and Canada somehow advance?
  17. I'm not sure if it's because of the time zone difference, or just the East Coast bias, but I agree. It might be that Cactus League games last until roughly 6 P.M. EST which would overlap with their regular schedule of broadcasting. MLB Network also just takes local broadcasts and airs them, they don't produce any on their own. The Yankees and Red Sox pretty much broadcast every game, giving MLB Network more chances to air them. If you notice, 3 of the 5 games FS Wisconsin is airing are also being grabbed by MLB Network, plus two others which I assume will be the opposing team's broadcast. I'm sure if FS Wisconsin did more games the Brewers would be on MLB Network more.
  18. This is a pretty cool idea. For $99 you get tickets to 9 games. Your seats start in Bernie's Terrace, but everytime the Brewers win, your tickets are upgraded a section. If you're lucky enough and the Brewers win the first 8 games of the package, your 9th game will be in the Field Diamond Box. If I lived closer to Milwaukee, this is something I would definitely do. 19. Not that I agree with it, but Jon Heyman thinks signing Lohse would turn the Brewers into World Series contenders. Link
  20. They're being unveiled at Brewers On Deck Sunday. I know a lot of people here didn't like them, but I loved them, and am very happy to see them added. Link
  21. I find it disgusting that the college and the media cares so much about this story, but this one gets totally swept under the rug.
  22. The awesomeness of this shirt is making me seriously consider buying it even though I don't really give two flips about the Bucks. If the Brewers ever came out with a line of shirts like that I'd buy them up like candy.
