  1. Not only that they have done this while playing a brutal schedule. 31 of 44 games against teams 500 or above and another 6 against teams who are just 2 games under.
  2. While they may not keep it up the Twins deserve to be in the discussion right now. They have one of the best offenses in baseball and while their pitching isnt great they do have a young ace. The Rays, Yankees and Boston should all be in the discussion too. All those teams have a run differential of plus 20 or more
  3. I think they said the brewers have 5 hits with runners in scoring position the last 3 games in which no runs have scored. That is pretty hard to do.
  4. This might be the worst plate game by an ump for a Brewers game this year. I loved how, a few innings earlier, Lester got a call that didn't even scrape the bottom of the zone according to ESPN's tracker. The announcer just laughed and said "well, I guess that hit the very bottom of the zone" If I remember correctly that was the strike to Arcia that should have made it 3-0. That was just a huge missed call
  5. The rest of the defense has struggled so Chacin just has to do it himself
  6. My 6 year just said "I hate this ump. He is terrible." we usually yell him not to use the word hate but it was hard to argue. He has been awful all game both ways
  7. Brewers errors have costed a run and probably a full inning of Chacin as his pitch count racked up
  8. That first pitch to schwarber has been called a strike all day. This ump is rough
  9. I can't see anyway his next start isn't in AAA. They are not in a rush to bring him up with the rotation stabilizing. If he could replace shaw then maybe
  10. That first pitch to Baez was one you called a strike quite a few times on Brewers hitter ump. That is why the Brewers said something
  11. This lineup right now has a lot of guys who have been pretty bad lately. Arcia might be the 4th best hitter lately of the guys out there
  12. I think people are being generous if think Chatwood is trying to paint any corners. He is all over the place. He is lucky the ump has a big zone. Numerous low pitches being called strikes
  13. Honestly I blame the Brewers management right now. Shaw should be in AAA working this out not the major leagues
  14. Maybe he should throw that low slider more when he is up in the count!
  15. I was thinking of the same thing when Cain stepped to the plate
  16. Cain's defense has given him a pass from a lot of people when talking about the struggling hitters. At this point against righties I would rather have gamel leading off
  17. That double play was too predictable. I am almost surprised the Cubs are even possible thing to yelich here even with how he has struggled today
  18. Mr. Burnes politely asks that you hold his beer. Haha. I am a huge Burnes fan so I would gladly do that!
  19. I know stats say Javy is a great hitter but if a guy can throw a slider it seems like Javy will swing at it no matter where it is in the zone
  20. A lot to ask of Burnes to get Baez two days a row in high leverage spots.
  21. Against the Cubs I dont know if I go to a mop up reliever unless we are up 7 or more. Go Guerra again and then maybe save Hader if needed but the Cubs can score in bunches.
