  1. 2-4. Sheets pitching in Colorado just isn't a good match at all, I don't feel too confident about tomorrow but hopefully I'm wrong. I'll say they win 1 of 3 in each series.
  2. They showed the graphic earlier, I want to say it was something like 2.12 but I might be wrong. This is off topic, but does anyone here have/know where to find a Parra jersey T-shirt? I've seen a couple people at games with them, but can't seem to find one at Miller Park, Kohl's, or FanFair in Southridge Mall. I guess I should've just asked the people who had them.
  3. This team has no killer instinct. They've only scored 21 runs combined in the final game of each series this homestand!
  4. And to top it off, he was a great actor! After the 3rd inning of the game I was praying Parra could make it through 5, this is awesome. With tomorrow's day off and Benny going Friday, we might not need more than a couple relievers before Saturday. Then again Sheets in Colorado kind of worries me, I remember him saying once his curve ball didn't break whatsoever in Denver.
  5. The Cubs are the only team that's been hotter than the Brewers this past week or so.
  6. This homestand has been unbelieveable. I wonder if that's the shortest ITP home run in Brewer's history. Arizona's defense has been completely embarassing this series.
  7. Branyan has had two plate appearances, yet no K's BB's or HR's, check his temperature!
  8. I was just thinking, I can just imagine how giddy Bill is in the booth that the Brewers are scoring all these runs without "relying" on the home run.
  9. Parra batting is Gallardo from the left side minus the home run potential.
  10. Does anyone else think it's strange that Upton, who's second on the team in OPS and OBP bats 7th for the D'Backs? I'm not complaining but it seems pretty dumb to do.
  11. I almost hope Sveum told him to go, cause if Kapler did that on his own that's pretty horrible. On the other hand Sveum seems way too agressive and it's pretty annoying. Anyone else hear the reasoning for benching Cameron? If he's a streaky player in a cold spell ,which I agree he is right now, how is sitting him going to get him hot again?
  12. Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder totally traded plate disciplines right there.
  13. So why is Counsell getting another start after he did on Sunday? I understand Cameron's struggling, and yeah I know Owings is a righty but come on Yost, Counsell doesn't need to start three games a week.
  14. I think 5 of his 9 home runs this year are against lefties. He also has a very respectable career OPS against lefties of .821. Obviously most of those at bats aren't against one of the best LHP of all time, though http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif. I guess I just don't really think Joe Dillon is too much of an upgrade over Prince to make a difference for one game.
  15. I just realized that Tampa has had the exact same amount of home games as the Cubs have. I don't think many people expect the Rays to continue to play .600+ ball to begin with, but with a lot more road games than home games the rest of the way it'll be even harder to keep up the current pace. They must perform well in front of 10,000 every night!
  16. Man, Randy Johnson is still good. Cameron is 2-27 with 16 K's against Johnson in his career, that's just funny.
  17. He was even nice enough to blow the crowd kisses! I wish I could see the strike three call on Drew. He was hounding the ump for a while after the game ended.
  18. Hah my high school English class watched that a few years ago. Although we were about 17 so when it came on everyone was like "Morpheous?!"
  19. That definitely looks like Sheets, I don't know who the other guy is though.
  20. To be honest, I didn't think there was much cheering for him at all. I think the same amount of noise would've been made if DiFelice entered the game in the 7th inning up 6 runs.
  21. Sweet charts, Woogie! Hardy's SLG makes me want to cry http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  22. I'm almost positive he'll get a standing ovation. If anyone boos him they either probably don't know about his cancer, or are too drunk to think about it.
  23. As cool as it will be to see Doug Davis pitch when I go to the game tomorrow, I'm a little disappointed I won't see Branyan start. Maybe he'll get a late PH appearance.
