    Dunn has a no trade clause with his option. Any trade for him will almost certainly entail a large contract extension.

    How was he given more time than most? He's 26. Many relievers just put it together at that age. Heck Aquino is 29 and is still given chances

    I wish people would not even think of penciling LaPorta's name anywhere close to the mlb roster. The track record of 22 year old college position platers is hardly stellar (yes I know LaPorta has circumstances).

    My point with Hardy is that he hits free agency just when Fielder, Braun, and Hart hit big arby salaries. And Hardy won't be cheap to sign most likely, probably around $10 million a year adjusted for inflation come time.

    Hardy will likely be the first gone. Keep in mind Hardy is only under Brewer control for three more years.

    People keep on ignoring that Suppan was pretty sucky in his last win. I'd imagine Capuano was thinking, "Hey I could give up 4 runs in 5 innings too!"

    From what I understand, if he's traded he's added to a 40 man for that team. Now he won't become a minor league FA until he actually get removed from a 40 man again. Basically he'd get a spring training slot.

    They haven't been pitching on three days rest since the Nixon Administration. And I'm sure when Sutton was coming up old pitchers complained about those soft pitchers these days with their greenies and steroids allowing and how it babied them.

    Given the fact Sarfate was unlikely to make the team next year and so would be gone anyway, not really a big deal. Still would have rather just dumped Aquino.

    If the team started off April like it played in August, Yost would already have been fired. Which is why for Yost's job fast starts are much better than good finishes.

    Because the White Sox have a lot of really bad players the Brewers might not be good? The White Sox won a World Series based upon an entire pitching staff having career years. They then proceeded to assume those levels were sustainable. And they kept around players instead of improving (see the Houston Astros).

    So lets see if I understand this. You can't complain when Yost makes a move and the Brewers lose because you only complain when the Brewers lose. you can't complain about Yost when the Brewers win because, hey they WON! I guess you can only complain about Yost after suspended games.

    Jenkins WARP 3.2 Dunn WARP 4.1 Not really such a big a upgrade as people think due to the fact Dunn shouldn't be in the outfield. His defense is horrendous. Also would be hesitant to give a long term contract to Dunn's skill set. I see him taking the Yankees OF or DH slot soon.

    The thing with the Hart bunt was that it not only took the bat out of Hart's hand, it took the bat out of Jenkins hand as well. So the two players who were clutch in the game got taken out. Yost playing the "flow" again I guess

    There is a huge difference. Hart didn't think "I really should just completely muff this". Yost did think"Mench versus Dempster with the game on the line? Great idea!" and "Aquino versus Pence? I like it!".

    It only seems that way if you have no idea who your players are. Aquino can't handle pressure. Everyone save Yost seems to know that.

    BP: Miller FRAA 2 Estrada FRAA -7 Miller isn't what he once was, Estrada is a never been.
