  1. I went in 05, and it was absolutely tremendous. Best concert I've ever been to, hands down. Seriously, I had goosebumps from the sheer awesomeness of most of their songs. I can't stress how truly amazing TSO is.
  2. Joe Nathan, another awesome year. I'm pretty sure he could have 108 saves in 2008 and nobody would notice. Good call on Jack Cust. I picked him up in my fantasy league that counts walks immediately after Oakland got him. It's about time a team gave him a real chance. JJ Putz in Seattle had a tremendous year that nobody seems to mention. Carlos Pena in TB.
  3. Well, he's fairly valuable as a bench guy, but is strictly a platoon player at this point.
  4. What to watch tomorrow? NLCS or Office? Or both? Life is so complicated.
  5. Who cares? You don't win 90 games by accident.
  6. I disagree; the fans have a right to know what's going on with their team.
  7. 100% agreed. He is NOT funny.
  8. I like that you didn't include McClung. He belongs nowhere near a Major League bullpen at this point. I agree with Wise. I think letting him clear his head this offseason will be a good thing, and he should be ready to go in February. I hope Luis Pena, Steve Bray, and Tim Dillard are given NRI to Spring Training to see what they can do. If the Brewers can upgrade the bullpen without having to spend a dime, I'm all for that.
  9. There's 2 good Dennis Green ones, the one where they took the tape from the Arizona/Chicago game, and the one where it went like this: Guy #1: The rules? DG: The rules were fair. Guy #2: The Regulations? DG: The regulations were fair. Guy #3: The competitive balance? DG: The competitive balance was fair. That's a good one.
  10. I forgot to mention Chelsea as my favorite non-Wisconsin soccer team.http://soccerlens.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/chelsea.jpg

  12. Does my terrace-seat for-$6.50-on-Friday-nights-because-I'm-a-college-student still apply?
  13. Chicken legs and a beer belly don't do it for you? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  14. It's stupid that they have David Aldridge and Craig Sager as the on-field people. Stick to basketball. I'm not a fan of the TBS in game break or any of the TV announcers they've had yet.
  15. Give me Hamels over whoever the Rockies are throwing in the early game, Lackey and Co. to upset the Sox in Fenway, and Big Z to dominate the DBacks lineup.
  16. I believe you'll get something eventually telling you what you can do. You'll be able to use the money spent on season tickets for next year, or get a refund.
  17. I understand that. I'm just saying I'd like to see him cut down on his Ks and put the ball in play more, giving him an even better chance to get on base.
  18. I don't care about K totals if you're going to slug for a high percentage, but when you can use your speed like Rickie can, putting the ball in play is much more important. He can't steal first base.
  19. Rickie's K totals are definitely a concern. You can't have your leadoff hitter with above average speed striking out that often.
  20. I just hate how Rickie used to try and play every ball to the side. It's definitely gotten better, but he still does it too often. JJ's about as sure handed as it gets; it's his range that worries me.

  22. Awesome game by Gamel today: 3-4, 2 HR, 4 RBI. And (surprise!!) an error on defense.
  23. I like the idea of keeping one of the extra starters in a long relief role a la Villa this season.
  24. Hey, I made this exact same thread a few days ago. The consensus was that he'll keep 49 because of his ties to Teddy Higuera. Even if he doesn't, oh well; you've got a #49 Yo jersey. My jersey was shipped on Friday, so I'll get it some time this week. I was hoping to get it before the weekend so I could wear it to the games on Friday and Sunday,(ordered it 2 weeks ago) oh well.
  25. They learned that Yo Gallardo absolutely has the ability to dominate Major League hitters.
