  1. If the Brewers put a mirror in the dugout I find myself wondering if we could hit better...
  2. Monasterio's quick start gives a perfect reason to send Turang to AAA both for service time benefits, but more to see if he can get the swing into a bit better groove. Toro gets a little longer look as well, and you start reevaluating that spot in a few weeks.
  3. Nice to see some solid games for Adames and Urias it could definitely help with some roster moves to give us some more offense at this stage without sacrificing anything on defense.
  4. It wouldn't hurt for the Pirates to lose a game here again either, so it's kind of a win either way for use on that front.
  5. Denny's just filed a copyright suit on Perkins.
  6. Great job by Weimer there, hard to not want to be the big hero there and swing.
  7. It's nice with the Brewers offense struggling to see Nashville hitting so well 😉
  8. A scrub right handed pitcher, we've got a chance.
  9. Somehow in first place for another day. Another week of hitting like he has been the last few days and Joey would be up close to a .700 OPS...
  10. I thought the rehab stint was short as well, but he was hitting right away down there, but at this point it's a concern as he has gotten comparable ABs or more than Winker and Voit. As for Weimer getting hot would be nice he has accumulated a decent number of walks and a solid number of extra base hits it's really the low batting average holding him back.
  11. The record should reflect my post was before the double steal.
  12. Outside of Williams clear MVPs at this point are Miley, Teheran, and Miller why extend anyone at this rate.
  13. I agree that is pretty great, and I really hope this is the first domino that makes it easier to stream in market through MLB.tv
  14. It's a little thing that can give some of the marginal players a reason to stick with us.
  15. Winker might very well be done, and if so I' feel kind of bad mostly because if your 29 and have that big of an issue with your neck already that is not an exciting future prospect.
  16. Chourio already with 2 hits today, here's to hoping last night was the turning point for him in AA on the results side.
  17. It just feels like giving up the lead followed by Adames put a few players completely mentally out of the game right now.
  18. Unless my recollection is off Misiorowski has only really had anything like struggles during the innings he was extending himself deeper into the game. I would guess if he is going to have that type of command from tonight and the no-hit type stuff he won't be in Carolina the whole season.
  19. Not as bad as my recollection then. So 10 years isn't too bad relatively speaking.
  20. It sure seems like they go through these awfully fast
  21. We shall henceforth refer to this is the Transaction of Nottingham.
  22. Lightrail for Twins games is great in my experience. It gets really crowded of course, but they run some extra trains right around then and it often beats waiting to exit a parking garage.
  23. I could see parts of Door County putting something together to draw some people in that direction.
  24. Everyone looks great with an OPS north of .900 like he does at the moment, but especially on the current roster with the contact, speed, right handed and positional flexibility he would still be very valuable with an .800 OPS. Helping give platoon friendly bats to some of the other players and some off days at the same time is great, and I do like the ability to tighten the defense even more in the late innings by letting Rowdy sit. The numbers already indicate Miller is slightly above average defensively at first, and he's got good tools to see that get even better with some more experience. Definitely a great pick-up especially just for cash...
