  1. I'm a Brewers fan and a Star Wars fan, the Broxton bobble does nothing for me. Just reminds me of a Jedi from the prequel trilogy, especially with the purple saber. The Lucroy bobble was great and made sense but unless Kyle Wren is on the team next year I don't know if it is worth it anymore.
  2. I guess I agree with Cardenal1 here. I don't really think they are looking for salary relief at all. They want good prospects and will consider trading Braun because he is aging and not likely part of the next playoff team. If good prospects are not involved the trade is not happening because salary is not a concern. Even three years from now I don't see $18 million impacting too many decisions that they make no matter how well/poor he is playing.
  3. Encouraging signs for sure but I will wait and see how he does when moved up to the next level.
  4. Lopez would have to be called up April 27th or later to guarantee 2023 control. So really if Garza implodes they could in theory go with Lopez the next start, doubt it but they could.
  5. I guess I don't get it. Even if they couldn't work out a trade couldn't the Pirates just claim him after they couldn't agree to a deal.
  6. Another nice game for Troy Stokes, maybe more people will take notice by mid season.
  7. I actually wouldn't necessarily be opposed to that. It might impact super 2 but the Brewers will still keep the player the same amount of time.
  8. I can't see this team having only four bench players for long, so in the near future I imagine two pitchers are sent down/DFA and a CF is called up, possibly added to the 40 man depending on the player.
  9. Unless Santana is hurt I don't really see that happening anytime soon. Broxton has more to be concerned about if he keeps playing the way he has. Santana has room for improvement but has been okay.
  10. I was 9 at the time and we just sat down for Sunday dinner. It was a nice day and the windows were open and we suddenly heard a bunch of screaming from our next door neighbors.
  11. If Marte ends up coming back in 80 games it looks like it will be against Milwaukee. It will be interesting to see the fans reaction to him but I imagine they continue to give Braun a hard time while giving Marte a nice ovation.
  12. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Davies is fighting for his job this Thursday. There are only so many guys with options and think they will at least take a look at Garza before they get rid of him.
  13. I ended up voting for Barnes but in hindsight should have voted for Pina as well since we don't have an age limit. Would be great if he ended up winning ROY but didn't get a single vote here.
  14. I still see Mr. T I actually kind of like that, especially since his last name begins with T.
  15. Appear committed with Villar at second base by electing to give Perez the start at SS. Thought they might be flip flopped when Arcia was on the bench.
  16. 1. Lewis Brinson 2. Josh Hader 3. Brandon Woodruff 4. Isan Diaz 5. Corey Ray 6. Mauricio Dubon 7. Luis Ortiz 8. Lucas Erceg 9. Marcos Diplan 10. Trent Clark 11. Brett Phillips 12. Ryan Cordell 13. Cody Ponce 14. Phil Bickford 15. Jorge Lopez 16. Freddy Peralta 17. Troy Stokes 18. Nate Kirby 19. Corbin Burnes 20. Jacob Barnes 21. Jacob Nottingham 22. Jake Gatewood 23. Brent Suter 24. Gilbert Lara 25. Kyle Wren 26. Kodi Medeiros 27. Garrett Cooper 28. Taylor Williams 29. Monte Harrison 30. Dustin Houle 31. Josh Pennington
  17. I don't think Suter was brought in to sit in the bullpen a few days and start on Saturday so I would assume it isn't Suter getting the start. If Suter was getting the start I think they would have just brought up Cravy for the rest of this series and the start of the Cubs.
  18. I can't find it now but I read April 15th, which would be the following turn in the rotation but it is likely up in the air and could be longer.
  19. I would be down with calling up Suter/Cravy for the next few games, give Hader one start and bring up whoever of Suter/Cravy you did not bring up before. In my opinion it is the best starting option for that one game and keeps the bullpen fresh. Then Garza could start the following turn in the rotation and down goes Suter/Cravy. One day of service time isn't going to harm anything in regards to Hader.
  20. Not that tbey couldn't just wasn't worth it and still isn't.
  21. I love it, I hope they continue to overspend on vets and be mediocre.
  22. I think it goes back to the depth thread we have. The Brewers now have proven major leaguers on the 25 man in Hughes and Milone and capable players with options in the minors if the others falter or get injured.
  23. He doesn't have to keep his mouth shut, be mad he didn't make the team. He played the victim card as the everyday man that should grind it out in a 9-5 job when he made over 200k last year and likely to make more than that this year when all is said and done.
  24. Cravy is clueless, go get a 9-5 and see how easy you have it.
