  1. A cross between Trot Nixon and Shin-Soo Choo.
  2. I have an I-Pass and you can add vehicles online after you get the transponder. Currently have three vehicles using the same transponder. Can't imagine driving down there without one.
  3. With the release of Cameron Garfield will Leal perhaps be moving up to Brevard County?
  4. Favre didn't do a crime he just changed his mind a lot and the Packers finally called his bluff. Plenty of great players leave a franchise and plenty of franchises get rid if once great players.
  5. I would be open to a potential ace. My concern is San Diego is the one expressing interest. There is no package from them that would make me happy.
  6. Predict they go with Arcia, Reed, Lopez, Roache, Magnifico, Ross, Ramirez, Jorge Ortega. Seems like a lot but they should have the space available after trades and free agency. That would leave Hall, Wang and Suter most likely to get picked but don't think they would. Also think that Dominguez has the possibility to be removed. This list is also why it is important not to add guys like Wren too early as they risk losing another prospect. I also added Ramirez and took off Matt Clark but could see them keeping Clark and exposing Ramirez.
  7. I left him off as well. While some rate him rather high because of his upside I rate him rather low because of his bust potential and don't really think he will reach his potential as a baseball player. Just my opinion but wouldn't be surprised at all if he went back to football.
  8. Kind of feel bad for Ben Guez as I think he finally would have made it to the majors after the Brewers made some trades this summer if he had not gotten injured. Might be beneficial for him to stay in the organization as I think he could fight for a job in 2016 depending on who is traded and left to play centerfield. If room becomes available after trades would also like to see what Pena and Chapman can do in the majors before they become free agents.
  9. Well he is going to be introduced so what does it matter if he gets booed once or twice. I think he will have a key at bat late in the game.
  10. I'm probably most looking forward to reading the analysis of the prospects that the Brewers received in trades and then following them in the minor leagues for the rest of the year. Would like to see Perez play every day soon and determine if he has a future here. Would also like to see Chapman recalled as I like feel good stories especially in seasons like this.
  11. I wouldn't limit it to 5, I like Pierre quite a bit as well.
  12. I tend to not wear shades when it is dark. However, I agree that there are some nice pieces in the farm system and a number of years of team control in the starting rotation so there is certainly hope and it is not like the team will have to start from scratch. It just gives the team a chance to play these younger players without having to worry about winning now.
  13. 1. O. Arcia 2. M. Reed 3. T. Jungmann 4. J. Lopez 5. K. Medeiros 6. G. Lara 7. T. Wagner 8. T. Taylor 9. C. Coulter 10. C. Knebel 11. T. Cravy 12. T. Williams 13. J. Gatewood 14. T. Clark 15. D. Williams 16. M. Diplan 17. H. Johnson 18. N. Kirby 19. V. Roach 20. B. Diaz 21. J. Ortega 22. C. Sneed 23. Y. Rivera 24. N. Ramirez 25. C. Leal Comments: After filling out the list I can definitely tell that the depth is much better than the past as I left off a number of deserving players (Harrison, Denson, Pierre, Magnifico, Neuhaus, McFarland, Sneed, Wang, Hall and Orimoloye my next 10). Looking forward to guys like Jungmann, Cravy and Knebel graduating so I can add some more guys next time around. There also appears to be a nice mix of high ceiling guys that can break out or bust and also solid major league players which equals a pretty good system. I really think that Arcia/Reed will be at the top of the order for the Brewers for many years to come, possibly starting sometime in 2016. With a number of younger starting pitchers at the big league level from the system (Nelson, Peralta, Jungmann and Cravy), potential solid starters like Wagner/Lopez and higher ceiling guys like Medeiros/Williams it gives me hope they can avoid Garza/Lohse signing in the future. Would like to see Leal moved up as he is a little old for his age. Wouldn't mind if Ramirez got a shot as the starting first baseman next year if they go with a rebuild and get rid of Lind.
  14. To me his control has always been his biggest issue, if he can continue to limit his walks he should be fine.
  15. I don't really see that, it is hard to compare position players to pitchers. Most of the position players ahead of Taylor on these lists have been high ceiling guys like Lara, Harrisin, Clark, Arcia and the like. It is not like Jason Rogers, Yadiel Rivera and Kyle Wren are getting votes ahead of him
  16. Probably just go with Schafer, don't need to add Taylor or even Wren for that matter to the 40 man after the season. If they had any faith in Reed to play CF then they could give him a shot.
  17. Wonder if Scooter could be part of a package as well since Infante has been so bad. Agree with the comment on Rios as well, could use an upgrade at both corners. Make an offer for Parra and Gomez.
  18. Must be a pretty murky crystal ball to not see the Brewers will be pretty bad for at least a couple of years. Should get a new one.
  19. Same old story last night, 1 run, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts. I have a feeling that even if he keeps this up in AA and AAA there will still be many doubters that he can do this at the big league level. Hopefully he can get a shot around 2017 or so when the Brewers are still not real good so they can see what he can do in the majors.
  20. Yes, please see the two posts starting here from Tuesday's Link Report. Anything I'll be posting this week pertaining to minor league free agency or Rule 5 eligibility has been confirmed by the Brewers, and yes, Arcia's Rule 5 eligible. Thanks, look forward to the full list.
  21. Does he have to be added to the 40 man, I get confused on the rules especially considering he signed at 16.
  22. Probably not the best thing to say all their first rounders have been busts since Braun when your best pitcher right now was a first rounder. Otherwise I am fine with what he said and hope the Brewers are now more open to trading him.
  23. brewers already tweeted that Cravy will start tomorrow. who knows what will happen after that though. Just in time for Davis to come back. There wouldn't be another start for Cravy before the All Star Break so might as well send him back down to get another position player on the roster.
