  1. What did the Bucks end up giving up for Ridnour?
  2. Rovell also suggested that people in places like Bangladesh didn't have to work at Nike sweatshops. They could just get a different job.
  3. My goodness. They really are getting the whole band back together.
  4. Nice to see Arcia back in the lineup tonight. And Taylor with another double. Ho Hum.
  5. He did say "if" Braun did PED's. At the same time, though, he framed the comments in such a way that made it sound like Braun is totally hated around MLB. Olney has had an axe to grind against Braun since the beginning of this whole thing. Maybe Braun snubbed him at some point.
  6. There will be more moves. Bank on it. Although I'd like that lineup you posted - it would mean lottery for sure.
  7. Man, I was a SharePoint admin for about a minute several years ago. I was severely underqualified though. I still have some of the books...maybe I can look something up for you.
  8. @1005fahr Dan Dakich blocked me. Other than that I don't tweet too much.
  9. Something screwy going on with the box scores but at least I know that Tyrone Taylor hit another dinger. Shame he didn't make any mid season lists.
  10. His swing looks so effortless. He might well still be tapping into his power potential. He's going to hit a lot of HRs in Miller Park, even if it's only as a platoon bat facing righties. #17 is as easy a swing as you'll ever see on an opposite-field shot. He has a very efficient swing - no wasted movement at all. His head stays very still as opposed to someone like Gomez who is sort of all over the place and still makes it work.
  11. Sort of related.... I absolutely can't stand it when a concert starts and everyone pulls out their phones to film it. I mean really? The sound on your iPhone SUCKS, you're most likely holding your camera THE WRONG WAY, and there's a flipping live band right in front of you! Use your fricken eyes and watch the band you toolbox!
  12. Except the bulls that fought in the ring that afternoon.
  13. Bucks sign Delfino. Up next: Bob Lanier and Mickey Johnson
  14. No, and it wouldn't even be close. http://www.baseball-almanac.com/recbooks/rb_hr7.shtml Yeah, I kinda figured something like that would show up. an early 1900's Stat. Is there a way to change it to lowest ever since 1955 let's say? Not including the Strike shortened season. Not sure if this is what you wanted, but these are the last two teams without a 20 HR hitter (edit: I think this is correct. If someone wants to do a search on BR and double-check that would be cool. I will try tomorrow if I have time) : Kansas City in 2006: http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/KCR/2006.shtml Mark Teahen led the team with 18 and Detroit in 2002: http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/DET/2002.shtml Randall "Don't Whack Our Weiner" Simon led the team with 19.
  15. Zaza is back! 3 years, $15 million
  16. Now that Skaggs is up in the show, I'm guessing they aren't going to move him. So the rumor is moot.
  17. I have a rather large man-crush on Tyrone Taylor right now. Is he a fall league candidate? Or do they usually reserve that for guys a little higher up in the food chain?
  18. The Cardinals also won it all two years ago with a rotation which struggled to last just five innings in nearly every start vs the Brewers in the NLCS. They won that ring with great bullpen pitching and good hitting. They also won it in 2006 with only one starter possessing an era under 4.00. In fact, their starting pitching outside of Carpenter was pretty horrendous that year. Granted that was probably one of those flukey seasons.
  19. BA has Skaggs rated ahead of Bradley. I'd take any two of Skaggs, Bradley, Eaton, Holmberg, and Davidson. They won't give up Skaggs and Bradley so it'd probably be one of those two plus a position guy or Holmberg (who doesn't really excite me like the position players do).
  20. Really good article. I understand the need for pitching but I think you need to trade Gallardo NOW given his drop in velocity and overall ineffectiveness. He's got a lot of inning on his arm now and is due for a DL trip at some point. If the rumor of Skaggs for Yo are true, I'd pull the trigger on that immediately.
  21. I think you build a team to get to the playoffs and let the chips fall where they may.
  22. Episode 11 with Gob and Tony Wonder made the whole thing worthwhile.
  23. "The Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks have reached agreement on a three-team trade that will send J.J. Redick and Jared Dudley to L.A., league sources told Yahoo! Sports. The Suns will receive Clippers point guard Eric Bledsoe and forward Caron Butler while the Bucks – who facilitated the deal with a sign-and-trade of Redick – get two second-round draft picks, sources said. Redick received a four-year, $27 million contract that includes a trade kicker, sources said. Under new general manager Ryan McDonough, the Suns are moving swiftly in reshaping their roster, acquiring a center in Alex Len, the fifth overall pick in the NBA draft, and atalented, young point guard in Bledsoe. Phoenix can't negotiate a contract extension with Bledsoe until after deal is finalized on July 10." I sincerely hope there's another trade in the works involving these extra picks.
  24. Per Twitter, the Brewers have signed Dominican prospect Nicolas Pierre Figeroa. If I knew how to embed the tweet, I would give credit to JP Breen and Dionisio Soldevila (Pierre is ranked #28th best international prospect by MLB) Nicolas Pierre FigueroaRank: 28San Pedro de Marcoris, Dominican RepublicHeight: 6'3", Weight: 175Position: OFDOB: 11/13/1996Bats: R, Throws: RScouting Grades* (present/future): Hit: 3/5 | Power: 3/4 | Run: 4/5 | Arm: 4/5 | Field: 4/5 Figueroa, at 6-foot-3 and 175 pounds, has speed in the outfield and projects as a center fielder. Overall, Figueroa has been praised for his wiry, projectable body and his above-average athleticism, but there is some concern about his lack of games. There are also some scouts that question his baseball instincts, but he is expected to get better with experience. Figueroa has all the tools scouts are looking for and has shown that he can hit in games. His bat is said to be his best tool because he can spray the ball to all fields but he's also a good baserunner. However, Figueroa might not be the strongest prospect on the market and his strength could be one area of focus once he signs with a team. They've also signed Panamanian catcher Johel Atencio. http://www.baseballamerica.com/international/brewers-sign-panamanian-catcher-johel-atencio/
  25. He had three consecutive years over 200 innings. I don't think the extra innings in college affected him at all.
