Watched it on Charter On Demand last night and fell asleep before the end. Although I liked Amy Poehler's character, I thought the storyline was pretty dull.

I had heard that the issue was that Teixeira said that he was an Oriole fan prior to being drafted, but after being signed with the Yankees he had said he was a Yankee fan growing up. I've heard of this happening several times. It happened with Damian Miller as well. He always said he was a Cub fan growing up in Wisconsin, until he signed with the Brewers. Then he was a Brewer fan all his life.

Hello, I'm considering using CafePress to sell t-shirts for an organization I'm affiliated with on a website I created. Just wondering if the shirts and printing are of good quality for the price? Would CafePress be the best way to go, or is there something else I'm not aware of? I see Brewerfan uses Cafepress, any thought on the shirts or anything else I should be aware of? Thanks

This season has been excellent thus far. So after Jack saves the day, do you think he'll get a presidential pardon? I also have a feeling that Tony will be killed off for real sometime soon, probably by Jack.

I don't see why all the hate for the WBC, I thought it was pretty cool last time and I'm very much looking forward to it. As for this rule, I wouldn't be surprised if it was something requested by MLB anyway to limit pitching injuries.

I haven't read through all 88 pages of this thread, so I apologize if someone brought this up already. I honestly think the media in this country is making the recession worse. I watch a lot of news, flipping between the various cable news channels (CNN, CSPAN, MSNBC, FOX, CNBC, HLN, etc.) and all they talk about is how terrible the economy is. And it is, I know, but I think that besides all the job losses another huge problem right now is that people that do have stable jobs are not spending because it's being pounded into their brains how bad the economy is, and so they save rather than spend. I'm not saying they shouldn't talk about it, just that it's not helping. That's all.

It's been almost five months for me. I'm not even getting interviews for some jobs I'm overqualified for.

Hmmm....Boggs is a Hall of Famer, Gooden would have been a hall of famer minus injuries and drugs, Pudge may yet be a Hall of Famer, and Rayes is on track to be at least a borderline Hall of Famer if he keeps doing what he's been doing. No, I don't think we're overrating our guys. This has been going on here forever; I remember Rickie Weeks many times being referred to as a potential Hall of Famer even before he broke into the majors. I can name quite a few other Brewers minor leaguers that were MASSIVELY overrated on this board. It happens, I'm not ripping on anybody, I just think some people are not thinking realistically. Edit: And for the record, I am not sold on Gamel yet. He might be good and might not be, but we certainly can't expect him to come in and produce enough to replace Fielder, who has already proven himself. And I think Escobar is highly overrated, I hope we keep JJ around. Jeffress I like though.

I actually thought the same thing. He is clearly worth more than that, and frankly I was surprised at his figure to only be 8, and I fully expect him to get all of it. I think Prince seems to be often undervalued on this board and many seem to think he's only slightly above average. I think that's crazy, sure his numbers were down a bit in '08 but does anyone really expect him not to bounce back? I sure don't.

Best comedy on TV today, IMO. But I already have the DVDs.

Just saw two more movies that were on my list: Benjamin Button I thought was an excellent movie, although kinda long. Reminded me A LOT of Forrest Gump, which is my favorite movie of all time. Pineapple Express was hilarious for the first 3/4 of the movie, but got kinda dull towards the end.

Saw all three. Righteous Kill was a major disappointment for me. Two of my favorite actors, and this movie just wasn't that entertaining. I wouldn't say it was horrible, just not that good. 2/5 stars. Body of Lies I liked quite a bit. Definetely worth watching again. 4/5 stars. Pride and Glory was decent, but certainly not great. Nothing I'd buy on DVD. 3/5 stars.

The newer Macs are 64-bit, so that's why they can run up to 32 GB. As I understand it, OSX was built to run whatever the hardware will support, so there's not a separate 64 bit version like there is for Windows.

A couple things... Vista is not the problem when it comes to using 4GB of RAM. All 32-bit operating systems can only actually use 4 GB of total memory, and that includes your video memory and a few other things. So you'll never be able to actually use 4 GB of RAM, so this includes Vista, XP, Linux, Mac, whatever. There are tweaks out there to make them appear to recognize more than that, but they cannot actually use more than around 3.5GB. A 64 bit machine can handle I believe 32 GB of RAM. The downside to using a 64 bit machine is basically software compatibility, although a lot of those incompatibilities have been resolved through updates and whatnot. However, there are still some issues. I bought a top-of-the-line Dell XPS recently and installed Vista 64bit, and had a few minor problems so I switched back to 32-bit for now. If you are going with a Vista machine, 2GB RAM would be absolute minimum in my opinion. The more the better though. As for laptops, Gateway was bought out by MPC awhile back, and has now filed for bankruptcy. They are unable to get a lot of their replacement parts now, so I would not buy Gateway at this time. I work on computer hardware for a living, and although you will hear stories about Dell being lower quality, I think it's bull. I think Dell is as good as anyone, and their customer service is far superior to any other company I've dealt with. It is my opinion that Sony Vaio's are junk, the ones I've worked with are not durable at all and their support is horrible. And all laptop batteries are the same, they will either be great or suck depending on how you use them. The biggest thing to remember is not to overcharge your battery. A lot of people leave their charger plugged in all (or most of) the time, and that is why the battery doesn't last as long as it should.

I believe if it's PC formatted, it will work with your Mac as well without reformatting. But not vice-versa. I think.

I know some of you are 24 fans like me, and wondering if you caught the 2-hour 24:Redemption prequel to season 7 last night. I did, and without spoiling it for those who didn't, I thought it was pretty darn good, and an excellent lead-in to the new season. I was pretty skeptical after last season was probably the weakest since the show started, but Season 7 is looking pretty good from the trailers I've seen. Any thoughts?
