    My intensity level is way down, obviously, so the impact of the wins and losses isn't as great Thats why this franchise frustrates me so badly.I want to watch games late in the year just like a Packer game,all nervous and excited during games.When Wilson jacked that off Kolb,i just laughed,almost sensed it was coming.No yelling at the TV,no frustration,just a blank stare that said time to flip the channel. I'm so envious of teams that at least are in contention most of the year on a regular basis.It's the same story year in year out,games that mean nothing by August or even earlier.I then gradually lose interest to the point of watching Discovery channel reruns instead of the Brewer game.

    Well I still care, right or wrong. Gotta hand it to you,no question your a bigger fan than me.I love the Brewers,but the yearly nosedive usually does me in until some new kids show up to keep me interested. I just cant sit and watch games anymore,bores me silly.I check in a few times a game,but thats pretty much my limit.Once i start watching games and dont even flinch as we choke another game,i know it's time for football for me.

    Does it even matter anymore batman? The team blows and we will finish in last place again,i have a har time caring much anymore whether we win or lose.

    Yeah, the Helms love-fest is getting old Try fossilized,just the sight of Helms is enough to make people ill. I'll grant with a 27 million dollar payroll Yost is in a gunfight with a cap gun while others have a shotgun,but his gritty battle chants get annoying after awhile.

    Helms walked and Bennett drives in 2 runs in the same inning.That my friends is like a blizzard happening in Miami.

    Winning 15 out of 20 isnt impossible. Yea and the Yankees could lose 15 out of 20 or Helms could hit 15 homers the next 2 months.The odds any of the three happen are 5% at best. We are out of it,.500 looks a stretch at this point.

    Wow, Capuano has been awesome so far. He's been good most of the year.His hits per innings pitched is good and he's averaging nearly a strikeout an inning.His only real flaw right now is walks,but overall there isn't much not to like.DLR may have been the key arm Melvin wanted,but it looks so far the Capuano was the best pitcher in the trade.

    I can't see getting so mad about Darron/Bill,it's not a new thing that they blow and are about as bad as it gets.I've long given up caring about what they say,but then again i'm a channel surfer,i couldnt have sat and watched that whole game.Once the Cubs had 4 runs,i knew the game was over,i just checked in once in awhile to mainly watch Branyan bat.

    Wow Helms first pitch hacking,who would have expected that? I can't stand looking at him,he not only blows,but he just looks like an idiot.The new haircut makes him look like an even bigger hick.

    I cant stand Daron and Bill either,but what else is there to talk about?How futile our lineup is?Get excited by an occasional walk or base hit that will just end up being stranded? The fawning is excessive,but hard for me to get bothered by.This team is painfully boring to watch,there isn't much to say about the Brewers or to get excited about.They could mention we have a AAA offense,but we see that for ourselves every game.

    Has to be a drag for Ben when after the first inning and 2 runs given up,he's knows he's probably looking at an L.Then he's forced to be perfect the rest of of the way,3-4 runs is nearly an impossibility for this sad offense. Montreal is healthy now,it's not likely we catch them for the worst offense in baseball,but we have 2 months left.

    I got the perfect movie line for Kolb I was watching Boiler Room again a few days ago.While training they said the key was knowing your ABC's,always be closing.     This shouldnt come as a suprise,the lack of power on this team has been glaring for a long time,you cant score without it.I certainly dont want to put undue blame on just the RF's for this considering the power shortage runs through the team,but our RF's have hit 1 home run in the last 2 months A corner OF position with 1 home run in a month,Cristian Guzmán has 3 in that time span.Now that's sad.

    If Seattle scored 3 more runs tonight,we will be 29th in runs.Only the pathetic Expos will keep us from the worst offense in baseball.

    Walks and singles,it's almost all this offense can ever do.We are now 28th in SLG% and 28th in runs scored,a few more games and we should catch Seattle for 29th place.

    That blows the game isn't on TV,it has to fall on a day lil Ben is pitching instead of a day Obie was pitching.

    I've been saying it for awhile,today was the Brewers offense to a tee,no power.We played a team with a mediocre offense,but they at least they have a few bats that can go yard.When your offense has a SLG% under .400,you will not score runs. We have zero hope of a wild card run,even if Pods/Jenkins heats up,the lineup has to many holes.The sad thing is who knows when we will have a top 5 ERA pitching staff again, just wasted by an anemic offense. Its a real drag to follow a team that a 2 run lead feels devastating,even early in a game.I've gotton to the point that im suprised when we score a run,like an 8th grade team facing a college team.I always expect the worst,regardless who is batting.

    5 teams have a SLG% under .400,we are one of them.Those teams rankings in runs scored are 25th,27th,28th,29th,30th. Last year teams with a SLG under .400 finished 26th,27th,28th,29th,30th in runs scored Can't score runs without power,popgun offenses don't cut it.
