    I'm glad we get to play everyone in the AL Central every year. I never understood MN as our "natural rival". I never considered them any more of a rival than anyone else in the AL Central. But it does mean we don't get annual games against doormat Houston.

    From the JS Brewers blog. That doesn't make sense, if Kintzler was on the 15 day, he didn't need to get added to the 40 man. And I thought the 40 man was previously full. It makes sense that Parra and Stetter replace DeFelice and Wilson. But the Brewerfan 40 man roster shows 41 and that's what I had figured too. But the offical website doesn't list Rogers on the 40 man. Was he dropped at some point and I missed it?

    I'm worried about the starting pitching like everyone, but I can see a positive. Greinke will finally be pitching on normal rest in game 5.

    I was at the game a couple years ago, when the Brewers had a triple play, got to see Trevor Hoffman pitch in the tied 9th inning, and then Prince hit a walk off homer when he did the bowling pin thing at home.

    So there is an option for those of us without cable. For $5.99, you can see alternate video feeds for the NLDS, ALDS, and NLCS. You can watch up to 4 feeds at once, out of a possible 10. Just not the main broadcast feed. Link

    Greinke only threw 74 pitches, so I could see him going on short rest.

    Huh? He had one bad start on September 1st. Otherwise he has been outstanding for the last month and a half.

    Kohls in Oak Creek was nuts this morning. The official t-shirts that the team was wearing were going for $25. A lot of the other styles were pretty picked over already.

    It seems so strange to be discussing postseason matchups and home field advantage. I'm so used to just traying to make the playoffs, or just trying to get to .500, or just trying to avoid 90 losses.

    I don't have the exact numbers, but I remember his SB % being in the 15-20% range prior to the All Star Game. So he brought the % up over the past month or so. He was at 31% last year, so so could some of the early problems be due to the broken finger and missing spring training? He has been more effective throwing out runners lately.

    Actually, Capuano is the only 15 game winner the Brewers have had in 17 years, since Eldred won 16 in 1993.
