  2. I thought Art Linkletter was 3. Law of 4's?
  3. So if Davis comes back in a few weeks and replaces Narveson, the Brewers will have 60% of their starting rotation from 2006 (Bush, Capuano, Davis). They combined for 100 starts that year and went 34-34 with a 4.44 ERA.
  4. Or Capuano when he joins the rotation soon.
  5. It seems like Arlis has spent more time on the "DL" than he has spent active, during his time with the Brewers
  6. I'm just afraid that the Zaun injury threw a monkey wrench in the plans to call up Braddock. TH and McCalvy both indicate that it is being considered, not a done deal.
  7. Braddock isn't on the 40 man, so Vargas to the DL wouldn't be enough. Someone has to get removed from the 40 man.
  8. My guess is Stern and Vargas get DFA'd.
  9. He's walking less than 2 per 9 innings. Can't really do much better than that. Only Cappy has a lower walk rate among the organization's staters. But agreed on the strikeouts.
  10. And Capuano with 84 pitches and no walks in 6 1/3 innings. At least there are a couple guys who can throw strikes.
  11. 1-0 this year. It was the first time I got the see Trevor Time in person. I certainly hope I didn't witness Hoffman's last save ever at Miller Park.
  12. I just noticed the Suppan now has the 2nd best ERA as a reliever, behind Villaneuva.
  13. Are the Brewers trying to mess with us? Two Roberts at catcher. Two Davis' in the outfield. At least they are on different teams. But now two Andersons in the same outfield.
  14. I think Brown Deer was picked because it's all ready to handle an event like this in such a short time. Most other courses would probably need to be reworked to host an event like this (galleries for spectators, etc). It would be tough to get a course ready in a year.
  15. JSOnline The Brewers have really done a great job under Attanasio of building relationships with area recreation/entertainment. Let see, they've got deals with the Admirals, Summerfest, State Fair, Harley Museum, Potawatomi Bingo, and the Zoo. After bringing golf back to Milwaukee, maybe they can buy the Bucks and bring back racing to the Milwaukee Mile. There are so many attractions and entertainment options in Milwaukee that keep trying to compete with each other for the same people and tax dollars. I'm amazed that more of them haven't figured out how much better they could do by working together. I've always wondered why Milwaukee doesn't have a city pass like other cities, where you can see everything for one price. The Brewers ticket deals are the closest thing to that right now. Great to see Attanasio and the Brewers taking a leadership role in the community.
  16. Hopper has been playing CF almost every day so far. The other option would be Olmedo. He's been playing all over and is off to a decent start. Too bad Heether is off to such a slow start. Not a good year to be an outfielder in the Brewers organization.
  17. Team Streak-y
  18. Are these Huntsville relievers going on the "DL" (wink, wink) like last year?
  19. Their defense has been pretty good, too. But I see they are leading the league in home runs allowed, so I guess they would fit right it at Milwaukee. I just noticed that Brevard has only hit one home run so far this year in 20 games.
  20. Yeah, I heard them mention this on the postgame. Makes me wonder if they'll put him on the DL and call up a pitcher, since the bullpen is shot for the upcoming series.
  21. I'm surprised he went that many innings in his first start. He must have had a really low pitch count.
  22. Weeks has been following the Fernando Vina school of getting on base since his days in the minors. That's just part of his game
  23. With the mention of possible position changes for Lawry and Gamel, who would you rather have at 1B when Fielder is gone?
  24. I'm guessing Suppan gets one more start on the 28th, then he gets skipped on the off day May 3rd. The 5th starter would only be needed on May 8th and May 18th, so they've got some time to decide what to do.
  25. They finally broke the streak of having a different pitcher for each victory this season. I can't recall ever seeing the first 7 victories in a season, all by different pitchers.
