Anal fissure, twisted testicle, and now factured testicle? What is going on with baseball this year?

http://www.jsonline.com/watch/?watch=1&date=7/1/2008&id=42498 Nothing definite yet, but now that the MillerCoors merger is complete, they may consider selling Coors at Miller Park. Coors beer at Miller Park sounds strange. But they do sell Miller at Coors Field already. How long before it's MillerCoors ParkField East and West?

I'm pretty sure the Brewerfan profile is wrong. He was drafted last year. MILB and baseball-reference both confirm that he was drafted in the 13th round in 2007.

On the plus side, Salome only has 1 error, so he's not airmailing his throws into center field.

If I recall correctly, recent box scores indicated 9 passed balls for Salome and 14 for Rottino. That's about the only defensive stat that we can really follow.

Was it Wes Harrison? I remember seeing him as a kid and thought he was awesome. My parents still have his record.

The Fan Forum link on the main page brings up http://biddingfortravel.yuku.com/forum/viewtopic/id/62594 It looks like the ezboard links are no longer forwarding to yuku.

They're actually on pace to win 88, if you take into account the home/road records. Amazing that they've almost played half of their road games already.

I've been lucky so far today. Had one strong storm with hail around 2:30. Just a few light showers on and off since then (and some sun here and there). Everything is passing just northwest of here (Muskego). But I'm still drying out the basement from last weekend. Yesterday, I got some bags of dirt to build up some low areas around my house and 100 feet of corrugated pipe to extend my downspouts and sump pump discharge. Also keep checking the gutters to make sure they stay clear.

Here are some more bizzarro stats: Kendall and Hardy are now slugging the same .352. And Hardy has the higher OBP.

The Wilderness Resort on Lake Delton is cutting some room prices by 25%. Probably the Lake View rooms that are now Mud View.

I saw that and it's just amazing. No Tommy Bartlett show or Duck boat tours. Not to mention all the resorts and water sports on the Lake. This will have a big impact on Dells tourism.

And it's raining again. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif At least it looks like it will just be light rain today. But there's still no place for the water to go anymore. As for taking a shower, just bring a bar of soap outside.

I have never seen anything like these storms, yesterday and today. Our ditches in Muskego were over the road both days. The sump pump discarge had no place to go so it was coming back into the house. Gutter downspouts too. The sump pump was running non-stop for 4 hours yeserday evening. Thank God it didn't burn out. Finally got everthing discharging away from the house late yesterday, but still had an inch of water in some parts of the basement. Waterfall coming down one window well. Lots of wet boxes in our crawl space. Some wet carpet. But it could have been a lot worse. Everything is drying out now. I just hope everything is set to weather the next batch of storms.

Nice pitching today, outside of Huntsville. Jones has got to be running out of chances. And Perez continues to rake since switching to 2B.

They drafted quite a few young position players last year. I count at least 8 position players from last year's draft, who are in extended spring training. Plus the latin players. Plus the postition players they did draft so far are mainly SS/CF types who are easy to move to other positions. Although it will be different without the usual mashing college hitters at Helena.

They're really loading up on college pitchers early on.

Second straight outing for Pena without a walk. Hopefully the start of a trend.

Yes, Lori was terrible as the MU beat writer. She struck me more as a human interest reporter, versus a sports writer. I don't give a rip about the Packers so I can't say if she's gotten better or not.

His slugging is now higher than his OBP. I think that's a first.

Some of the previous posts have me wondering: What exactly is an "American-made car". Chrysler isn't a US company anymore. And aren't Toyota's and Honda's built here in the US? So the Japanese carmakers are employing American workers. So what's the difference, beside the corporate parent not being in the US?
