    I think it's too early for Boras to be freaking out about it. The way it sounds, he has a few possible suitors already lined up for him to work his magic on in Dallas. My guess is that he is setting 6/$120 as what it takes to get a seat at the table.

    I'm hoping Dagu makes this happen. The FA options outside of Reyes (which is/was likely not realistic) don't inspire much confidence at all.

    I'm hoping that the Nats can top this offer.Also, this is coming from Boras... he just uses guys like Olney. I'm all for it because Olney is an idiot, but it's just funny how this will be reported as gospel until someone asks Melvin and he says "we haven't changed the offer for a year and a half".

    I would be thrilled if the Brewers brought back Hairston with that deal, or a little bit more.

    Totally agree on McGriff. He was awesome. Otherwise, I like end's list. I always hope for Rock Raines to get in. As far as Bagwell, I don't think it's fair to make him guilty by association. He was a great player and belongs in the HOF. I'll never get behind Jack Morris. I love the '91 Series as much as anyone, but I think the guy was just average. I'd rather see Tommy John get in, though I think that's up to the Vets now.

    Now that UNC has really turned up the defense, the Badgers can barely even pass the ball, let alone get a good shot off.

    So, does this mean Jericho/Punk at Mania? He definitely should be a heel... I would think/hope everyone agrees on that.

    The Knockout division is like one big stupid storyline. I can understand having a women's division when you have that centerpiece star like a Sable, etc., but just having one when you have no star is just pointless to me. The sad thing is, I believe that when they break down TNA's ratings, the Knockout segments are generally the highest rated ones of the show.

    I'm usually half a Red Sox fan, but I can't stand Valentine. It definitely seems like a disaster. On one positive note, we don't have to listen to him analyzing/doing color commentary anymore, at least for a couple years.

    Doesn't Bruce Prichard have more booking say than Bischoff now? I don't really like Crimson as world champ because he doesn't have mic skills and isn't really over. If the guy is going to carry the ball for the company, he should know how to cut a promo. As far as I am concerned, both Roode and Storm can be world champ, those are the two best guys in the company and far as being a total package that can work and cut a promo. I wish they wouldn't have hot-shotted the belt onto them, but that should be a killer feud if they let it keep going. There is an X Division belt that I believe Austin Aries currently holds. That guy is good, IMO. Ink, Inc. was on the last PPV against Mexican America in a 6-man mixed tag for the titles. I think they do have the potential to put on a really great show, but that the real problem is that there is just way too much going on (as evidenced by viewers not knowing what belts exist, etc.). They need to tighten up their storylines and come up with one or two dominant ones - Roode/Storm and then probably one involving Angle since he is always excellent no matter what he is involved in.

    I loved that they made Miz a little more mean/badass last night. They need strong heels, as most of us have said in this thread already. He had a great night. Punk/Del Rio was really good, and I'm not really a Del Rio fan at all. I thought that DQ = title change stip added some nice psychology to the match. Punk is just really superb. He looks like he definitely can be the #1 face now if they ever do turn Cena. It was one thing to get the pops he got from the smarks/older fans at MSG, but it's another to be as over as he is everywhere else. I liked how Ziggler won, since it wasn't totally due to the interference. He needed to get that one back from Orton since he got squashed by him at SS. They just need to get him off Ryder and get him onto real feuds. Probably have him get accidentally screwed by Vickie in a match with Ryder, and have him flip out on her to make her sympathetic. Maybe have Ziggler really intimidate her before Ryder, or even maybe Swagger (who could then be a face?) step in to save her. Commentary needs to be really good to accomplish this because of how negatively people view Vickie, so they need to get JR back into the booth to get that over. The commentary is so awful right now that they really need to change that if they ever do turn Cena to make sure it goes right. Cole and Booker T are the biggest offenders. Doesn't help that Lawler doesn't seem to really care anymore, either. I actually thought this was a pretty good Raw.

    I'm with Ennder's plan. This is a nice move by the Royals. Hope he pitches well and stays healthy and then deal him for more prospects to augment an already nice farm system. However, they'll probably keep him.

    I think he's pretty excellent as a wrestler, but his gimmick is lame. Hopefully he ditches that and goes for something else in TNA. No more slow-mo camera work on his entrance would be good.

    The other big problem is that the guy has zero in the way of mic skills/charisma.

    I think Miz could do great as a face, and it would be pretty fresh. I can't see any way that Truth is going to move a ton of merch - and I am guessing they already sell a ton of those "I'm Awesome" shirts and would even more if Miz was a good guy.

    I think they are planning on turning Miz face. I hope someone can elevate Cody Rhodes, but didn't they try to get him over big last year at Wrestlemania with Mysterio and it flopped? Maybe he's just always going to be a solid mid-carder. Granted, they wasted a lot of time with that stupid mask on him.
