  1. Lead-off double works, too http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  2. Gotta share the love with pitchleague http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif... he got me pointed towards the extra innings section ... but if you look anything like Suzy Kolber, I rescind the sharing offer
  3. That channel doesn't exist tonight
  4. Cuz Parra puts it in the dirt? Cuz Fielder misses a chest high throw? Cuz Rivera would have blocked it? Cuz Estrada is suddenly available again? Ya, that sucked, but better option than we've had for long time
  5. Same thing here. Where did you find it? (I'm in the middle of re-start now) EDIT: Found it at 739, thanks for the heads up. Wouldn't have thought to try that without your suggestion... gonna be some other ticked off viewers that didn't get your heads up.

Neither my name, nor our foundation, came up under the search (but right near the top of google, yahoo, goodsearch, etc), so it will take some convincing for me to try it again.
  7. #7 - not having to figure out what is bothering someone else. #8 - not having to go to weird in-laws' family reunions. #9 - not getting phone calls 5 minutes after your softball game wondering when you're going to be home. #10 - not spending money on jewelry that could go towards fishing gear, power tools, or season tickets.
  8. So now BA is jinxing other teams, too http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Just mentions during the Brewer/Cub game that John Lackey is two outs away from a no-hitter. I flip over to ESPN (who cut into some poker show) to see for myself, and the next pitch is a basehit.
  9. A 3-pitch strikeout by Benny is the next best thing http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. In my opinion, if Hart doesn't try to stretch it to third, the throw does not get cut off, and Fielder is out at home. Either way, as a whole, the Brewers need to eliminate the little mistakes that add up if they wish to be successful in the playoffs against teams that will make them pay for continued errors - physical or mental ones (for me, just getting there without advancing will be very disappointing).
  11. I'm sure I'll get my deserved lashings for this suggestion, but since McClung/Bush don't seem to be getting used when their turn is being skipped - how about starting McClung tonight? Put the first pitch in Soriano's ribs, and then let Benny take over the rest of the game. Seriously, who's gonna mess with Big Seth, knowing that Prince is coming in from first, and after last night, I wouldn't be surprised to see Sabathia being the first guy off the bench. Probably would be dangerous carryover over into in the crowd based on the discussion in the major league forum, but in a team bonding brawl, gotta like the way the Brewers would stack up (add in Branyan & Kapler off the bench vs. Fontenot & Cedeno). Hope Rickie doesn't pull something by swinging & missing, and need to be sent to Nashville for some rehab. Sorry, bad attempt at humor aside, I'm hoping that there are some independent fans out there that can confirm that while Braun is cocky, he isn't perceived as arrogant as Soriano? Like the polls about dirtiest player, does anyone know if a list of most obnoxious exists?
  12. MLB needs to change the rules, an official scorer uses judgement every game on close plays, he certainly should be able to judge when a double play should be made. Charge him with the error!
  13. Maybe pick up a goat to roam that yard... they'd feel at home, and you'd save on lawn mowing.
  14. Yes, not because the Brewers are doing well and just caught the team that was prematurely annointed the Central Division champions by many media sources... but because the Red Sox/Yankees game took a back seat to someone else.
  15. The last paragraph from this Brewer's article has Bush unavailable since last night (but McClung should be ready to help if needed). http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080722&content_id=3175228&vkey=news_mil&fext=.jsp&c_id=mil
  16. FYI - Some more positive pub should be coming the Brewers' way from ESPN, as they just mentioned Billy Hall will be a guest on tonight's 11pm CT Baseball Tonight.
  17. There are pet peeves, and then there are just real dangerous things. Cell phones are challenging enough, but now texting while driving is very scary, with those to be more likely the younger inexperienced drivers. [Cue the 'back in my day' references...]
  18. Anyone else remember the Ben Sheets interview after the Brewers had just traded for Carlos Lee and said he would be batting cleanup? In typical dry humor Sheeter style, he said something along the lines of how nice it will be for him to have some protection in the batting order now.
  19. Maybe it's some kinda farewell present... before making room for Suppan tomorrow
  20. I'll take another 3-run shot from Rickie, please! Need 4 innings from your bullpen... why not Bush?
  21. Looks Brian Fuentes is still open. I'm thinking that one would need to include someone from the major league roster (borderline)... think they'd bite on a Mota/Turnbow package? OK, how about Mark DeFelice or Tony Gywnn Jr then?
  22. Without an invitation and directions to your house, those pictures are just mean http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Enjoy!
