  1. Jordan Walker optioned to AAA. https://www.mlb.com/news/jordan-walker-optioned-to-triple-a
  2. May want to see if anyone is looking for a roommate in the local marketplace.
  3. Here are a few: https://www.zillow.com/b/lenox-flats-missoula-mt-BCnRHC/ https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1138-Toole-Ave-APT-3-Missoula-MT-59802/2101781979_zpid/ https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1035-S-2nd-St-W-4-Missoula-MT-59801/2058104052_zpid/ https://www.rentinmissoula.com/tyson-vance-apartments https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/330-N-1st-St-W_Missoula_MT_59802_M93895-46633
  4. I see a few rentals for under $900 in that area and if his car insurance jumped that much were they under you previously? They were probably receiving your discounts you had. I would switch insurance companies if the price increased that much. Also check different insurance companies and try and find extra discounts like the college they graduated from there are also some professions or professional groups that can get discounts. The $200 jump sounds like it is a horrible insurance company or it is time to shop for a new one.
  5. Flight time from NYC to Mexico City is 5 hours and 30 minutes while a direct flight from NYC to Seattle is 6 hours and 15 minutes. Flight times are not the problem. Flight times from LA to Mexico City is just under an hour difference between LA and Seattle. There really isn't an issue with travel to Mexico City.
  6. Majority of the people living in Miami are Cuban or Venezuelan. The Venezuelan population has increased a lot in Florida while the Cuban population hasn't really seen much growth in a long time now (immigrants). The Marlins nearly go after Cuban players specifically because of this. Unfortunately the Marlins have been ran so poorly even with their WS wins it hasn't helped their attendance. I always thought the Rays moving from Tampa to Miami would have been a better option and then moving the Marlins to Nashville, Charlotte, Raleigh or Portland made more sense than keeping the Marlins in Miami. The Marlins are basically a toxic franchise at this point.
  7. You forgot Chiraq errrr Chicago. As much as I love Chicago it can be an absolute third world country at night in some spots of the city. The same with Phoenix or any major city in the US. There are some cities in Mexico where it is far safer than in the US.
  8. I believe in the States Alabama would be the cheapest place to retire to. Alabama has one of the lowest cost of living I believe there was a study awhile back that stated $100 is equal to approximately $115 in Alabama. Social Security and pension income are not taxed in Alabama all other retirement income are. State income tax is 5% which is higher than neighboring Florida but your cost of living is far lower in Alabama which should offset this. May want to check out Vietnam as another country to retire to. There is a capital gains tax you have to pay but I believe it is rather small. Cost of living is extremely low in Vietnam. Thailand is another option similar to Vietnam. Poland is a good country to move to though you will need to learn Polish as English is not spoken all that much. You may be able to get away with speaking German but you would probably want to pick up some Polish at least. Panama is another country you may want to look into. Panama is home to basically every country in the world. You can find Americans, Venezuelans, Chinese, French, Koreans, and other communities in Panama.
  9. Unlikely on the Brewers getting Sacramento. One of the reasons for the minor league realignment was to have the affiliates closer to each other. Sacramento would be too far from Milwaukee and Biloxi. I have no idea beyond Biloxi if Nashville is no longer the Brewers AAA affiliate. Maybe Mobile becomes a AA or AAA team for the Brewers again.
  10. I am going to assume it will be somewhere not in WI. I don't see Madison as an even slight chance. Probably just move Biloxi from AA to AAA and then find another AA site for the Brewers. The Biloxi stadium is rather new yet and I believe fits into the AAA standard for a stadium.
  11. I tried but was too annoyed to.
  12. Ahh that makes more sense to my brain now.
  13. People saying my guy or my guys. Not sure why but that has been annoying me.
  14. Three if you go back further with Golden State. I believe the old arena was in Oakland?
  15. I don't see MLB allowing this. I doubt they are going to be all that willing for a AAA team to be taking away revenue from the MLB team. That team will get moved regardless of what that article says or what the A's are saying right now. In order for the A's to move there they are going to require the AAA team to move at some point. I doubt the owners will allow this and there will be a stipulation that the AAA team must move within x years.
  16. Probably. Should be interesting where they move that AAA affiliate. With the A’s eventual move to Vegas that leaves Portland, Nashville, Charlotte, Montreal and Salt Lake City as possible new MLB cities. Once the Rays situation is solved and that looks to be wrapping up soon also. So my prediction is expansion of 2 teams in 2028. I am going to go with Nashville and Portland as the expansion cities. Which means the Brewers lose the Sounds as their AAA affiliate.
  17. A’s have bought land in Las Vegas. https://apnews.com/article/oakland-as-las-vegas-move-17c6bdd24d60d86b67921e7d736705f2 This is a binding agreement so the A’s are leaving Oakland and will be moving to Las Vegas.
  18. I think Hooker may become the best QB in this draft 3-5 years from now. Whoever gets him and if they can develop him into a more consistent passer will have a MVP caliber QB on their hands. Almost perfect for the Packers as they can stash him behind Love and if Love sucks for the next two years just go with Hooker and not extend Love.
  19. If Hooker is available at 78 would the Packers be tempted to draft him?
  20. I think the MLB owners may require the current A’s owner to sell before moving. Similar to what happened to the Expos. Well not exactly similar but close enough.
  21. Why not just teach at a local tech school or university or one of the online schools? The pay sucks but it is not as demanding as an every day job. I taught a few online classes through the university of phoenix. Basically it is just give curriculum and they figure it out. Got about $500 a month after taxes during COVID. The grading is super simple you just put it through a program that they give you access to and that is it.
  22. Missing one in Grady Sizemore. Their swing isn't exactly the same as Mitchell's is a bit more flat compared to Sizemore's. Speed and athleticism I would put them at about equal. Defensively they are the same and I wouldn't be surprised if Mitchell puts up something similar to what Sizemore did in the early 2000's defensively.
  23. The Athletic has the Packers taking the following in the first 3 rounds. The Athletic has more pick predictions but I am just listing the first 3 rounds. 15.Peter Skoronski 45. Luke Musgrave TE 78. Antonio Johnson S https://theathletic.com/4413880/2023/04/17/nfl-7-rounds-mock-draft-2023/ In this draft the Packers pass on Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR who is drafted at #20 to Seattle. I don't think the Packers would pass on Jaxon Smith-Njigba if he is available at 15 and I don't see the Packers taking Skoronski either.
  24. I just looked it up in AZ you can buy property in a 55+ aged community before you turn 55. The only rule is that a resident must be 55. If you are not claiming that property as your main residence then you can have the property. To be able to stay there you would have to look up the bylaws of the community on how many weeks or months you can stay there being over the age of 18 and under 55. So for example if your significant other turns 55 before you do or you turn 55 before they do you could live there as your main residence without any of the bylaws impacting you.
