  1. I like Colt Emerson, Aidan Miller, Brock Wilken and Jake Gelof at 3B. One or multiple should be available where the Brewers are picking either in the 1st round or the Comp A pick. Depending on how these players perform they should be available though Gelof and Wilken could skyrocket up the list if their hit tools improve. Emerson fits who the Brewers have been drafting and signing internationally. Solid hit tool and solid defensively. He is listed as a SS but I don't think he will stick there. He did play 3B for Team USA and that maybe his position he has a solid arm and he looked like a 3B for Team USA defensively. He has a commit to Auburn but I think a team could easily pull him away from that. A SS/3B who may slip is Jacob Wilson. If he drops that would be the perfect scenario for the Brewers as he is another player that fits the Brewers profile of recent draftees and international signings. This might be the year the Brewers go pitcher in round 1. Will Sanders is someone to watch with the Brewers pick. I think if he is there during the 1st round that is who the Brewers take. Tanner Witt is another pitcher to watch for. College pitchers look to be solid this year with Dollander, Skenes, Waldrep, Lowder Sanders and Witt currently sitting at the top. Dollander and Skenes should go in the top 5 and the others somewhere between 10-20.
  2. Your training is more complex than the Air National Guard. At least what my friend in Hawaii who is a fire arms instructor for the Air National Guard explains it.
  3. The hat matches the shirt that is all that it is.
  4. It will be back. I think this happened with another sports channel and it was back a month or two later.
  5. At this point with the Suns allowing the Bucks to speak with Crowder it is basically almost a done deal or at least as close to being a done deal as it can be without a trade actually happening. I think this is the player the Bucks will add or they won't add anyone who will impact the team at all. Ibaka is more than likely gone it just depends on if it will be in a deal for Crowder or for an expiring contract.
  6. I know the Brewers haven't had a lot of good DH's but putting Seitzer on here and at #2 where he only has about one season worth of time at DH is just asinine and the same can be said about Parker. The list should only be Molitor and Davis anything less than 3-years at the position shouldn't really be counted.
  7. Sad day for hockey fans as Bobby Hull has passed away. https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/35557785/hall-famer-bobby-hull-golden-jet-dies-age-84
  8. I was going to say Hamilton at 5 would be better than Deer.
  9. That is why I think it would be you are paying for all of the teams that are currently on RSN deals. This would also include NHL and NBA teams along with the MLB teams. I think that makes more sense as a service than just doing it team by team. Though this basically kills any cable deal so it would be streaming or you don't get the teams other than when they are on ESPN, FOX, etc. but this is what cable is basically going to anyways. So you would have to get the app on the cable box and pay for it to get the team you want.
  10. Short term Bally's going bankrupt would hurt the Brewers a lot but in the long term it would be a huge help. I don't think all of MLB would go into one package but the teams on the RSN deals would all become MLB owned broadcast rights. So instead of paying for a regional network you would pay for all teams kind of like MLB.TV but without the blackout restrictions. I think you would see a MLB, NBA and NHL network put up so you are able to watch all three sports through one subscription. The pricing on that I am not sure but I am thinking somewhere between $20-30 a month and that would be if you wanted MLB, NBA and the NHL all in one. Maybe they do a one team option for something like $14.99 a month. I think the $14.99 a month subscription at least digitally would be the most popular. I am not sure how this would work for cable maybe they lock cable into a more regional format where you only get teams in your region. The cable part is the more complicated situation to work out. The streaming or digital version is far easier as you have less restrictions. Though the way cable companies are starting to roll out their cable instead of having a dedicated channel they could just put the application on their boxes and you subscribe that way. Actually that is how I see cable moving forward in the future. You get a cable box and you can rent or buy it from the cable company and your TV shows come in through your internet connection which is what it is doing now really with the new cable boxes.
  11. I believe FanDuel, DraftKings and others are far more popular than Bally's with sports betting at least the apps are far more popular than Bally's.
  12. Ad revenue maybe constant but that doesn't mean it will be equal to what the payments to the teams are. So a restructure will have to happen which means it is possible the teams don't get the full amount or they get the full amount but it will be in future payments.
  13. Maybe but I think Sinclair would prefer to sell off Bally's than incur more loses. It also depends on what type of bankruptcy they are filing. If Sinclair does shirk all of Bally's old debts that means the teams do not get paid or will only get paid a fraction of what they are owed which will paid out to all of the broadcasts with the larger market teams getting more back the smaller market teams. So the Angels, Heat, Braves and others will get more compared to what the Brewers will get. Then depending on the order of the debt holders the teams could get even less if they are on the lower end of the debt pecking order. So this is a really big deal for the small market teams like the Brewers. I think Sinclair (Bally's) just offers the teams higher ownership shares in the TV deals for a lower payout. The Brewers probably go from 30% to 40-60% ownership and only a $10-20m a year payout.
  14. Looks like the Bucks will need to make the Crowder trade now with Portis being diagnosed with a MCL sprain.
  15. The Astros owner is not all that much better. Maybe he trusts Stearns more but he has been running the whole team and everything had to go through him first for the past few years.
  16. 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% false we all know he is going to the Mets the team he grew up watching! This isn't really surprising.
  17. I don see Baltimore giving up Mayo for Houser maybe Lauer but not Houser. Johnson makes sense but I think you are looking at Kjerstad or Povich instead of Mayo.
  18. Would be very controversial on TV I am not sure even HBO will touch that.
  19. First game was good second not so much as they ruined the character in the second. They ruined the development of the character that is. They basically turned Ellie into a Mary Sue in the second game. So far it is following the game fairly close. I do wonder how they are going to handle a certain part of the game with Ellie. I am not sure they will want to touch that part and if they skip it then they are skipping a major character development part for Ellie.
  20. Arbitration agreement contracts are now fully guaranteed. So he gets his $2m if he is DFA’d.
  21. I don't think so. The Raiders are basically begging for a QB and would trade their 1st for Rodgers. The Seahawks have multiple 1st round picks and could trade one of them for Rodgers. Probably not going to happen but the Lions could trade one of their 1st round picks for Rodgers also. Something like the Lions 18th and 81st pick could be possible or the Seahawks 20th and 83rd pick. If the Raiders get real desperate it could be their 7th pick and 109th pick. I think Rodgers would probably prefer the Seahawks or the Raiders over the Lions. But I could definitely see the Lions trading for Rodgers it would put them as a Super Bowl favorite and probably the favorites in the NFC by a lot. The Lions could also trade out of the 6th pick and trade it to a team that needs a QB and get another pick in the first round of '24 instead where they could draft a QB if Rodgers retires after the '23 season or draft a QB at that spot to be a replacement for Rodgers. Please note I am not a Packers fan so I am not being homerish on these trades. I don't think the Packers will get the return they could have received last year which was multiple 1st round picks. I think they get at least one 1st round pick and it could possibly be in the middle of the draft. The Steelers also make some sense maybe they trade the 32nd and 49th pick to the Packers for Rodgers.
  22. Apparently the Cardinals are now in preliminary talks with the Marlins for Lopez. I would think either O'Neill or Gorman would have to be going from the Cardinals and probably Yepez also. So something like O'Neill/Gorman, Yepez and lower minor league prospect for Lopez. I think that makes the most sense for the Marlins and I think they would want Gorman over O'Neill but the power that O'Neill could provide for the Marlins I think is too much for them to pass by and they would go with O'Neill, Yepez and a lottery ticket.
  23. Defensively Arraez is worse than Urias so I don't see how this improves the Brewers at 3B. This trade makes the Brewers worse off at 3B and is not an upgrade. Arraez would be playing 2B and you would be playing Toro and Brosseau at 3B. I am not seeing how this trade improves the Brewers. It seems like neither team other than the Twins are getting anything useful in this trade. I don't see the Marlins needing Urias or Hiura. Kepler sure but he is not even close to being enough for Lopez. Also I don't see the Twins giving up Thielbar. It would be better to just keep Urias than to do this trade.
  24. OK will probably cross Nashville off the list. All I do in Vegas now is relax at the pool and drink for most of the day or I am in the casino relaxing. Yeah I know boring but the goal is to relax not be on the run every minute of the day. I will have to look at those places in Mexico. I am not a big fan of San Diego but will have to check that out.
  25. I am having a hard time deciding this year on where I want to take my vacation. I was going to go to Monaco this year and watch the race there but apparently two of my co-workers decided to have kids at the same time so that is out the window but at least my boss will be hearing a temp worker while they are both out otherwise it would just be me and her doing everything for like 3-months. Next year I will definitely be going for sure. I have severely limited times that I can go on vacation as I have regulatory reports I am responsible for that I have to submit in April, Sept, Oct and Nov so I can't be off in those months. Right now it is looking like Vegas, Nashville, Miami or Mexico. I just can't decide on where I want to go. This is like a yearly thing for me I am kind of bored of Vegas I have done that way too many times now. I just want to relax either at a bar, on the beach or at a resort I want to do nothing all day as my work gets way to hectic at times especially during regulatory submission times.
