  1. Lindor and McNeil are not really on the best of terms. When the player that you are paying the most and looks to be the face of your franchise for the foreseeable future something is going to happen. https://www.si.com/mlb/mets/news/mets-francisco-lindor-jeff-mcneil-rat-raccoon-mystery-finally-uncovered From the source above: “[Lindor] would always try to get him to move and Jeff would be like, ‘Shut up, I got it,’ ” a source told The Post. “It was building and building.” So it sounds like McNeil is not a fan of shifting and will play where he wants to play.
  2. They don't have a 1st round pick they traded it to the Giants in the Fields trade, so not really.
  3. I don't think he ever comes close to an .800 OPS ever again. I think he is more of a .750 OPS player going forward which would be fine if he were playing at 2B. His average exit velocity was down near the bottom of the league along with his barrel% and hardhit%. I just don't see him being anything more than a slap hitting 30 year old 2B. He is basically a clone of Wong who is already on the team. Having one Wong type of a hitter on the team is OK and I just don't see the appeal of adding another. If the Brewers could get McNeil plus prospects for someone like Houser sure go ahead and make that trade but if the Brewers have to give up anyone better than Houser then that is a horrible deal for the Brewers. I wouldn't be surprised if teams have a surplus value on McNeil closer to a 1 win player which is worth far less than Houser on the current market.
  4. I am not a big McNeil fan but I think this would be fair. Brewers get McNeil, Palmer and Jordany Ventura Mets get Houser I don't see McNeil with much value and I think his power numbers were added by the juiced ball and he is probably closer to a 90-100 OPS+ than he is to the 139 OPS+ he put up with the juiced ball.
  5. Jrue has played better since the playoffs. I know he had a bad playoffs offensively wise hopefully in the playoffs this year he plays better offensively as it looks like they are going to need him with all of the injuries.
  6. #2 would be my guess. I don't think either side wants to drag this out any longer than the end of January.
  7. No just no. Small's value is higher as a #4 or #5 starter. Plus he doesn't really have the stuff to be a back end reliever. At worse he is similar to Suter and could be a pitcher who can bridge a couple of innings to your better relievers like Hader.

    Pizza

Home made bread is better in a pizza oven than in an oven. Not sure you could get the right temperature in a grill for bread.

I have made some bread in the one I have and some pasties.
  10. ....which is why maybe a new offensive coordinator with new ideas would be useful. I am not against a new offensive coordinator and maybe a new voice will wake PC up. I am just not sold on him allowing the new offensive coordinator to make these changes. A new voice in the room on the offensive side is definitely needed and should be welcomed especially after the last two seasons. I just don't think PC is going to allow for these changes to happen.
  11. Not really surprising the new variant seems to spread faster though with more mild symptoms. The NHL has also suspended play until after Christmas. I don't believe the NFL will do this but I wouldn't be surprised if some games get moved like the Saturday games. I think both of the Saturday games will be moved to Monday if there is an outbreak for the teams.
  12. Assuming the Brewers stay at 27 which I believe they will there are some interesting players at that range. Here are my way too early players I am watching. If the draft happened today I would be hoping for Cam Collier (3B) would fall to the Brewers. Cam has a really nice left handed swing and should be an average to above average base runner. He won't swipe many bags but he has enough speed to not be a liability. He has a decent arm at 90 MPH from the mound which should be more than adequate to play at 3B. Defensively I think he could move to the OF if he is not able to handle 3B or move to 1B. He uses the whole field and isn't a pull happy hitter either. He is only 17 and doesn't turn 18 until November of 2022 so his power should grow. He has a very advanced bat to ball skill. I am going to assume he will be taken before the Brewers pick but right now he is ranked in the 20-25 range which is close enough to where the Brewers pick. I think his stock will sky rocket this summer and he maybe a top 10 pick. A HS pitcher that I like in this area is Andrew Dutkanych. This will be a hard sell for him as I think he may just go to Vanderbilt if he isn't drafted in the top 10. If he goes to Vanderbilt he is probably a top 5 pick. He has a plus-above average fastball depending on who you ask and a plus slider. I am not sold on the curveball he throws but some scouts have labeled it as a plus potential. He hasn't thrown many change-ups but that is another pitch that some scouts believe could be an above average pitch. He still has some more room to grow into his frame also. He has an effortless delivery. Kumar Rocker could also go around this point depending on his health or he could already be gone. Ian Ritchie is someone who could fly up the draft boards but I think he will be available when the Brewers pick. I believe Ritchie is the best HS pitcher in this class and someone who will stay as a SP. He is probably the safest bet as a HS pitcher to make it to the majors and be a starting pitcher. His fastball is similar to Woodruff's where he can get up to 97 but mostly lives in the 92-95 range. He is also extremely accurate with his fastball and can put it where he wants. His slider is also a good pitch with plus potential along with his curveball which looks to have above average potential. Mechanics wise he is perfect. If Ritchie is available when the Brewers are picking I would be highly disappointed if they don't take him at 27. I think Ritchie could be a #1 or #2 type pitcher with potential ace level pitcher if everything goes right for him.
  13. I have zero confidence in PC becoming what he was in Pitt. Allen looks to be a legit play maker but I have no confidence in PC actually using him more than just a RB. Look at Ferguson how many times has he lined up in the slot or any other spot than the traditional TE spot? I just don't have any confidence in PC making these changes when he wouldn't do it during the season. When in shotgun they could have put Ferguson in the backfield and then had him run a route from there or they could have put in one of the WR's there and ran route for them. I just don't believe PC will make the changes or allow for the changes to the offense that will be needed for the Badgers to be successful. The first three games of the 2020 season there was a lot of movement and the play calling wasn't 100% predictable. After the Michigan game in 2020 the offense went back to this weird no movement and no creativity stale offense.
  14. Well don't expect much on the Brewers side when it comes back especially on the FA side of things. Any major FA signing will be done after the arbitration cases are settled. The Brewers will be waiting on the cases for Woodruff, Burnes and Hader before deciding on who they can afford in FA.
  15. I doubt PC allows the new OC to change much in the offense. If anything PC is probably going to be the play caller again and they will just promote someone like Bostead to the OC spot.
  16. Baseball and basketball are easier to put a stat like that and line it up. With football that is rather hard to do. You would have to put weight on the outcome which could be tricky. I believe QB's should only get credit for the yards that they actually threw the ball and not anything that comes after the play. For example if a QB throws a screen pass and it goes for a big gain who really did all of the work? Should the receiver on the screen pass get a higher percentage of putting the team in scoring position or does the QB as they threw the ball but that is about it. What about a receiver catching a 5-yard pass and then breaking tackles and going for a larger gain is that also something the QB should be credited for? To me the QB generated 5-yards and the receiver generated the rest so everything after the receiver catching the ball is on the receiver with the QB getting a lower percentage of the outcome. That is extremely complicated to put together though it would be interesting to see.
  17. Mark Kotsay has been named the new manager for the A's. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/oakland-athletics-hire-mark-kotsay-as-manager-filling-last-vacancy-in-mlb/

    Pizza

Yes on my patio and also serves as a heater during the cold winter nights here in AZ when outside.
  19. I would say it is very punk rock right now. Most punk rock now is just corporate garbage also known as pop punk rock.
  20. I think Taylor should be the MVP and it shouldn't matter if his team makes the playoffs or not. Neither Rodgers or Brady are having that NFL QB MVP type of a year. If Taylor gets to 20-25 rushing TD's and 2,000 yard rushing he should be the automatic MVP pick. The next closest RB to Taylor in yards is about 500 yards short of Taylor in Mixon. If Herbert were more accurate with his passes he would probably be the MVP this season. Stafford is also having a great year and is only behind Rodgers by 2 pts in rating and there is plenty of games left for the Rams who are still fighting for the division to make up that difference and also put up more stats than Rodgers where the Packers could have the division won if the Bears win tonight and the #1 seed if the Cowboys lose 1 game. Rodgers could be sitting out partially on week 17 and not playing week 18. If Rodgers sits out week 18 and the Rams are still playing for the division in week 18 then I could see Stafford bypassing Rodgers and winning the MVP on that final week. I won't count out Brady winning again or JT winning it but I think Stafford still has a chance to win MVP. But if JT gets 2,000 yards rushing and 20+ rushing TD's then I just can't say any QB in the league was better than what JT did.

    Pizza

Trying this out on Saturday. Better be good I went full out and made my own sauce and my own sausage in addition to using the dough recipe above. It turned out pretty good but I wasn't super happy with my crust. It was fine. I think the recipe is legit - I am just not a very experienced baker. I don't think I let it proof long enough. Also I wish my oven went to 550 but oh well. It's a very easy recipe so I will definitely be trying it again soon. For my pizzas I bought one of these and I love it! I use either charcoal or wood mostly wood. You can also get an older version that just does propane or wood pellets for cheaper. I haven't used one of the older models though. https://ooni.com/products/ooni-karu-16
  22. MLB is already working on a streaming service for in market games. Which should be ready by 2023 and I wouldn't be surprised if somehow the other streaming services are also included in this. Basically would just be a channel you can add and pay for. Bally Sports is also supposed to have a streaming option you can pay for at some point in 2022 or 2023. 2022 will more than likely be all buggy and probably won't work all that well. I don't watch many games on TV so not having that as an option is fine by me. I prefer listening to baseball on the radio as it is the best sport to listen to on the radio.
  23. LOL 25 hours and $5 extra for 150 hours? I get unlimited for free with YouTube TV. But you keep on doing you and paying for that horrible customer service. We will see you in 2-years from now when you are again complaining about how they won't bring the price down for you.
  24. The syrup bag for the sodas for the whole stadium for the year probably cost about as much as one season ticket.
  25. Everything has an addiction it just depends on what stimulates your brain receptors. Everything from video games, sports, exercising, alcohol, drugs, etc. have some kind of an addiction to it. It all depends on the chemicals in your brain and how they react to what you are doing but smoking from a pipe is far less dangerous than smoking cigars or cigarettes. Mostly due to the chemicals that are found in cigarettes. While smoking in general is hazardous to your health if you can't quit smoking a pipe would be better as you know what you are packing in the pipe versus what is put in cigarettes. Vaping is also not better than cigarettes. It is probably about the same as cigarettes again because of all of the chemicals that are added.
